    MSU faced one good team and got stomped...but people are scared of them? They are a great match up for NU...No TE...RB that doesn't really catch passes big WR's and a QB that runs worse than I do.

      there is very little support for the football program here. even alums admit how bad it is. its all about hoops.

      Yeah it is...I grew up out in Chicago and Illinois football is hardly mentioned.

    I think offenses just run more plays now too...I mean in the past you would run about 65 plays? Now its 85?? I could be wrong on those numbers... But, 20 more plays can add to a lot more yardage and another TD... I think that 21 is the old 14 (Sounds like something a pervert would say while on trial)...

    Evanston itself is a quiet, rich little area, there is basically nothing to do there and the bars don't open (even on game day) until 11 or noon...

    I beg my idiot kids not to be idiots the night before a game...never fails though! Had a QB show up with stitches over his eye after screwing around with some friends and we had to go with our backup.

    If we win by 14+ do the national pundits give us credit or discredit Miami? Well, being that NU is the favorite there is not a ton to gain from this game, except for being 4-0. A big loss for Miami probably means that Al Golden will be canned at the end of the year.
