      Yep, I would jump at the chance to play Augusta for free. As others mentioned, it's a private club.

      It's weird that they dont, very dated rule obviously, but there are much bigger problems for women to fight for then a golf membership for now at least. So yea I'd play and keep calling those I'm playing with Shirley.

      Augusta National does have women members now. Condaleeza Rice and Darla Moore were invited in 2012.

    Mods/admins don't use their political beliefs to moderate the board. If they did, they'd lose that privilege. I've been an active poster on this board for almost 10 years and I've never once seen a mod level out punishment or action due to their political affiliation. They are, however, allowed to voice their opinion on politics just like the rest of us. Sure they have. Everyone has made mistakes and been biased. It happens. Just like some mods are more, ummmm, kind, towards some posters. It is the same as it is in life. Doesn't make them bad people...just makes them people. On that note...I would like to formally apply to be...A MODERATOR! Just let me know when I start. Thanks!

      what wallet? i've never found a wallet. it is all a liberal witch hunt. it fell out of his pocket when he walked by and i picked it up but it was a big nothingburger so all is good.

    A certain assistant coach was mocked relentlessly for celebrating the 9-win streak, and now a 7 or 8 win season is supposed to be decent or acceptable.Well, you got to remember that 5 years ago these teams were all easy wins:PurdueIllinoisMinnyNWIowa But now, I guess, going into this season they are either possible "trap games" or games that we "hope" to win.Those teams weren't easy wins 5 years ago either. Well, all the talk was that they were easy wins.

    I want this season to either cement Riley as a bad ass coach or as a bad coach. So either way we will either know we are on the right track or that we will be starting a new track.

    ADSE already fired the last coach and hired Riley. His tenure is attached to Riley. Not if Riley "retires" from coaching. This way, the ADSE can save face and hopefully not make another poor football hiring decision. Yep.. I think Riley is the type of guy that would "retire" to help out SE

    4-8 or worse. 5-7 would be close, but he would end up retained for the sole reason of courting the replacement foe a full season and making the transition smoother.I just think SE knows that he has to save his own ass first. Who knows though, hopefully they just have an awesome year! I agree at 4-8 Riley is gone and buying a paintless house in Oregon the day after the season ends

    7-5 will make it warm 6-6 and he will "retire" He will "retire" because if SE has to fire him there is NO chance that SE will get to be around to hire another football coach.
