Agreed Nick, he was an absolute mess back there. Couldn't understand his responsibilities for the run or pass, and lacked the athleticism to make up for it. There really is no where to go but up at the safety position, and I think we have a bunch of very talented guys lined up which will help this D massively.

And once again, I disagree. He was a horrific tackler. He always went for the big hit, which resulted in numerous missed tackles. He understood the defense fairly well, not the best but not the worst either. There is a reason he was starting. He did know the defense.
