The Dude

Check out the recent documentary on Mr. Rogers.  It was really good.  I like Tom Hanks, but I would recommend the doc over Hanks' portrayal of the man.

To be honest, that trailer just confused me. I like a lot of what Tom Hanks has done in other films, but he didn’t capture the feel of a shy man in that trailer.

Unpopular opinion incoming...I don't really know why this movie getting made (outside of the whole it's gonna make a bunch of money).  The documentary that came out last year was so incredibly good so I'm wondering why the need to release a movie so shortly thereafter?  It's not like the movie is going to break any new ground.  That being said, anything that draws more folks to Mr. Rogers is a-ok by me and I'm sure Hanks is going to absolutely crush the role.
