Bunch is doing the best he can. I'm sure he feels as bad as everyone else in the stands or on this site. We are really thin at that spot and it shows. Can only hope he gets better, as I'm sure he is going to play a lot this year. GBR!!!

After watching a few minutes, I thought they can move the ball out of any harms way, no matter where we were lined up. The way this offense plays, was nothing i can remember, since T O's. Maybe it's just me but, i think we can move the ball out of harms way no matter how deep we are in our end. Sure looked like it yesterday. jmo GBR!!!

Just read through some of the pages on their hate Neb site. lol Yep, there are still some of them left from the old days and still hate us, and yes some of the car damages and urine bottles stories are true. Ahhhh, nothing like a good old rivalry game to get the juices flowing again. GBR!!!

You can recruit to Nebraska if you have the right coach, period. T O did it so did Bob D. I think Frost knows what kind of players he wants, and when the results start showing in the wins, he will bring in some top 10-15 classes and probably a few in the top 5 range from time to time. His staff seems to be all in with Frost, just like T O's were with him. If Frost can't get it done with the support he has from the state and former players, we may never see the glory days again. He has had the best teachers of the game that i've ever seen, for one guy. JMHO GBR!!!

I was more confident with Genbia as a backup, for this season and beyond. We all wish he would of accepted being the backup. Doesn't matter now. Bunch is the next man up. GBR!!!

Just read an article on Saben. He loses DC and OC almost every year or so, and he just gets new ones, and tells them what he wants. I think Frost is going to be able to do the same thing, if need be. Once the recruiting gets back in the top 10-15, it will be easier to turn over control to any new coaches that he may have to bring in. GBR!!!

My concern is not winning or losing as much, as seeing this staff make adjustments as the game progresses. I'm tired of seeing our former coaching staffs watch the score getting out of hand, and not making changes to the "scheme". You shouldn't have to wait till halftime, to make adjustments. I think the last three staffs were stubborn, and put to much of the blame on the players. I think we have the right guy, heading this rebuild. We should only get better as the year go's on. Only thing I see slowing the progress down, is injuries. GBR!!!

Good news. Hopefully r/b position is taken care of. I think the starting r/b spot is Bryant's to lose. I don't get all the Bell talk, he didn't impress me in the spring game. Look like a good back, but not anywhere close to what Bryant brings to the field. Any way we should be better at that spot for this year. GBR!!!

Texas should be on a up swing, but what I really want to watch is UCLA over the next two yrs. Would be fun to see NU/UCLA in a Rose Bowl playoff game. Fireworks galore. GBR!!!

It still all comes down to Defence. You can't say we will just out score everyone 60-57. Clemson proved it in the 2016 game against Ohio St. 31-0. They showed Defence still wins games. That shutout tells me it can still be done the way T O and McBride did it. I don't expect to see that type of D any time soon or maybe never again, but to read that can't be done again, doesn't hold water. We will be a better D this season and get better as these coaches get the players they need. I hope we are headed in the right direction. I'm willing to wait on it. GBR!!!
