Very true, lots of things wanted by lots of different people. i have a hard time believing this board is representative of much else than the few regular posters' opinions. -
As I understand it, the CBI and CIT were clear money losers. Pay to play. With a bowl, we should at least get our expenses covered. Those of you who don't like it don't have to go or even watch it. exactly. i am a fan of supporting this team. not rooting for a coach, or taking pleasure in another coach failing. i root for the program as a whole and want to see them succeed and will support them when they lose, which is when they need the true fans' support the most.

what empirical evidence do you have that collins isn't dumb? and if you are on a team getting a free education, it does not matter what you think, only what the coaches think.

If Nebraska goes 7-5, they go on a 4 game winning streak and beat #6 MSU and #10 Iowa. If that happens, they definitely earned a bowl appearance. Same if they go 6-6. 5-7 will wins against Purdue and Rutgers... ...pass. If they go 6-6 with a win over MSU or Iowa I have no issue with them getting a bowl game. I don't like it, I think it waters fown the whole bowl experience because technically 6-6 isn't a winning season. Technically not a losing season either but you get the point. The money hungry ESPN machine has made up so many pointless bowl games an underacvhieving 5-7 team gets to participatr. We do not deserve a bowl for that. i would like to see you walk up to our seniors or tommy or westerkamp or any of the other players who lay it on the line every goddamn day for this team, this school, and these fans that they do not deserve a bowl game.

not sure all the practices in the world will help our sh#t talent and their sh**ty attitude. we need new players and a youth movement.

if just one player reads that very open letter, we win the game handily. and if we lose, i think we will know that not a single player did read it. for all our sake, i hope they post it in the locker room.

could someone clarify how the transitive proprty works in sports? in seems to change year from year, coach to coach.

i have a tough time evaluating banker. anyone here coach sports who could comment on how to best game plan? i would imagine if you can coach at any level, including flag football, you are just as much of an expert as a d-1 football coach with decades of experience.

i agree. and i think this team grows a lot throughout the season.

guys, i know a lot of you are upset because riley only lost one game yesterday and you prefer a coach that regularly lost 4. but be fair, we saw a team and staff yesterday with a lot of promise.

Knapp really was and is hb. When I first joined, he was the first member I could identify and the one that I was most interested to see what he had posted. Always knew he would be the voice of reason and would say what needed to be said.
