I was thinking of this: for every player signed over the official limit, for what ever reason, the offending team's opponent would start the game with 7 points for the following season. Then I reasoned the ave starting score in an sec game would be 42-35.

Maybe not. But these kids know the rules to keep their scholly when they sign up. If they don't want to earn their pay (scholly) then they get cut (fired). Works the same way in a job. Its more fair than the boyscouts would have you believe. It is the way the game is going and if we want to be competitve then we better keep up, like it or not.
