  1. It's not over folks. Either way, Minnesota is a good team. We did a lot of good things out there today. The kids tried hard.

  2. Alright! I only missed the first quarter. That gentlemen is how you get sh#t done.

  3. I volunteered to work tomorrow. First time I've ever volunteered to work during a game. I might only miss the first quarter depending on how quickly things go. Damn.

3/4 was enough of a headache last weekend.

I gave up some much needed overtime on a couple Saturday nights just to stream Fresno & Illinois games. The way I feel now, doubt I'll pass up OT again.

I listened to all of it, but the Aaron Semm segment says so much.

They get a little technical at one part, but if you just listen to theme and let them explain it, it all makes sense.

  4. There's plenty of issues, I won't dismiss any of them really so I'm not diminishing one or the othere with this thought, but does anyone think the defense just has enough of the offenses ineptitude sometimes? Did the game change after an offensive failure? 3-14 on third downs is horrible.

We've got some talent on the back burner for sure it sounds like. Of course, that story sounds eerily familiar. Also, I don't think Bo is going anywhere. I don't think there's any way he gets fired or steps down. I also don't see him letting Beck go. I think Beck is Bo's biggest problem.

    3. TheSker

      TheSker

I agree about Beck. If you get a chance and want to, listen to Pelini regarding the offense in the post game and today's presser. He's gotta be careful in front of the cameras, but he ain't happy...at all...with the offense.

    4. TheSker

      TheSker

Beck has made it known he has other aspirations, so Beck being gone isn't that unrealistic.

  5. Good thing for some that I'm not the AD. It'd be done already.

Barney - Interim HC and OC. Kaz- DC. Pelini, Beck, and Papuchis gone immediately. Everyone else to follow when new HC comes in and hires own staff.

Not to mention the fact that some of the worst run D performances against the "Blackshirts" have come under Pelini, the "defensive genius"

By the way, in the four games we've played against the Badgers since joining the Big Ten, we are 1-3. Combined scores of those games: 204-102. THAT'S 51 f'ing POINTS A GAME

      Defensive genius my ass.

  6. I'm ashamed right now, and I'm not even a player on this team.

  7. Did anyone see what Nate Gerry just did? He wouldn't play again this year if I was coach. Same for Cooper.

  11. LaVonte David 14 tackles again today. From the stats I've seen that puts him at 103 for the year. Leading the NFL.

      Pretty sure thats not legal.

      True2tRA

It's almost crazy. LaVonte and this Keuchly kid from Carolina are beasts this year. LaVonte has been a steal for the Bucs ever since they drafted him. I got LaVonte on my fantasy team and he scores me 20+ every week, so I finally looked up the stats.

  12. People want to act like what Pederson did wasn't neary as bad as what Rice did but I guarantee you if there was video of Pederson beating this child, people wouldn't be so ready to sweep this away. The video is the difference.

      Lol. Well played Warrior.

    4. True2tRA

      True2tRA

Just curious Warrior is you saw how they lost? Were they doing anything different than they are today? They just seem to execute on offense really well, and I like the way they use the TE, the play action, two back sets, and a fullback.

  15. Gotta run to the store and the post office here in a bit. Gonna change things up though and go a different route. That way in 3 days when I go again, "they" won't know which route to expect. "They're" always watching. Although sometimes I think I give them too much credit.

well... if it's earlier than 3am they'll still be drinking.

  17. The Broncos have Peyton Manning and Ronnie Hillman. The Huskers have Tommy Armstrong and Ameer Abdullah. Look at those names, and guess which team lines up under center and hands the ball off to their running back on first and goal.

A lot of college systems don't do that much under center nowadays -- especially the "less pro style" ones.

  18. Denver @ New England today. In the elements. Should be a good one. GO BRONCOS

  19. I was once asked if I am Mike Welch....I'm not. But the dude and me agree like peanut butter and chocolate in a Reeses about the issues with this f'ing offense.

  20. Everybody is picking us to win. 23.5 point favorites in Vegas. Purdue off a bye week. An offense that can score. Track star at RB. Mobile QB. A defense that changes its look constantly could cause Beck to over think things once again. I hope I'm wrong, but I've had a bad feeling about this one all week.

      True2tRA

I'd be all for Tommy to have a huge day but I don't know if today is the day for that. The wind may affect the passing game. I'd like to see him keep some of those zone reads today though, for sure.

  21. I'm a little worried about the worry about some of you being worried that the SEC bias is such a worrisome worry. Will we all be okay?

  22. Man....that Boardwalk Empire finale was messed up. Sad to see this show end.

I can easily see the kids taking this one easy--they didn't exactly close the book handily on Rutgers, and Purdue is a lot more hungry than Rutgers is, IMO.

Ideally, yes, DoNU should blow them away. But until this staff and team has shown they can play consistently week in and week out...

    4. NUance

      NUance

I'm guessing it's closer than the spread. But I can't see us losing to Turdue. Please no.
