@knapplc The beginning books/seasons had "false" main characters in Ned and Robb. With Jon and Dany, the "true" main characters he's been pretty true to regular story conventions. While the story will have a bittersweet ending (George's words), I don't think it's going to be because Jon and Dany die. It will be because of humanities sacrifice and other characters death (thinking Jaime is going to die).

Jon, Daenarys, or no one as the throne will be destroyed.

Rutgers got called for a late hit on thorson that looked exactly like the hit on Martinez last week when he slid. Not saying we don’t deserve some/most of the calls we have, but more and more it feels like refs are calling things differently with us vs our opponents.

Pointing out that the main message in TLJ was the force is for everyone but the only shown force users in the Sequel Trilogy are white humans and Snoke.  I acknowledge the diversity of force users in the Prequel Trilogy and physically using a lightsaber does not mean you can use the force (Finn in TFA, though I'd love for him to be one).

For those headlines.  Eichorst was a man with a plan (the plan ended up not working, but it was a plan).  Eichorst did not flounder like Pederson did in '03, he found a guy and hired him.  Again the hiring ended up back firing on him, but he did have a plan.

The Chatelain headline is one that does not work, but was there anything at that point that indicated that firing Bo was a bad move.  IIRC most fans were at the point ready for Bo to move on. 

Hindsight is always 20/20 and I don't see a problem with 2 of the 3 headlines (with the Chatelain one coming off the fact that most of Eichorst's firing press conference was spent discussing the fact that while 9 wins was ok, we should be striving for more).

Gerry played on at least the only punt in the game.  Probably played on kickoffs too.

The Bryant no catch is more like the James no catch for Pittsburgh this year.  He catches the ball, yes, but he's going to the ground and reaches out to try to score a touchdown which causes the ball to touch the ground and pop up.  Again not a good rule, but correct as written.

The difference between the Ertz catch and James catch is that James was falling down when he reached for the touchdown and lost control of the ball.  Ertz was clearly changing direction and clearly made the motion to dive before the ball hit the ground.  The James no catch is BS, but was correct as the rule is written.  The rule should be changed.  Have no clue what Michaels or Collinsworth were looking at that did not confirm that Ertz was a runner .

What was the call that awarded them the first down on the 4th and 10?  Looked like it should have been a simple encroachment.  Did they end up calling it mimicing the snap count or something about trying the draw the offense offsides?

Barring people leaving, off the top of my head the only two people graduating are Hoppes and Demornay.  If Lee decides to stay I think the offense can improve.

In looking at this offense, the only thing that it appears the team does not have is a running QB.  If Frost does come next year do I think it will be a completely smooth transition, no.  But I think we have the playmakers to at least make it run.
