  1. The best chance for a commit today is going to a Pac 12 doormat. #SMDH

Most people on the West coast see Nebraska the same as North Dakota. Crap weather, nothing to do, no big cities, no mountains, no ocean, no pro teams, mostly white people, and a red state. Cali is literally the opposite of all those things.

This staff needs to win more if they want to bring in top players. Happy they are going after the big dogs, but winning cures all.

  2. Probably not going to be a good day for the good guys today.

  3. This is...surprising, to say the least. He was not impressive at all at IWCC.
  4. What an absolute garbage end of the game by the refs in the Nebraska/Iowa game. Should have been a 5 point win.

Maybe they were doing us a favor by NOT sending us to the line...

Someone bet on the -3 NEB line...

  5. No No Who? So I'm going with Harsin. Harsin is HC at Boise State.
  6. I'll be really disappointed, and you should be too. Saturday is potentially a program altering day for Nebraska. Sorry won't let teenage kids decisions affect my mental state. And to hold hopes on this Saturday being "program altering" is laughable. Been there, done that with Callahan's first class. Yes good athletes help a program but the lesson learned back then is talent ain't jack without coaching, and that hasn't been a proven commodity around these parts. So don't take this as a Debbie downer or Riley hater post, just as an opinion of a guy who lived this once. Would I like every one of those kids to pick NU? Absolutely. Do I think it happens, no. *Woosh*
  7. That's a great, great win for Nebrasketball.

  9. Man. Lotta people still hung over from yesterday, I see.
  10. Huh. Almost as if they didn't deserve to be there.

  11. A sh**ty bowl against a mediocre opponent with our three best players out? Might as well win the damn thing.

      ^^^This right here.

  12. WR is a position you can come in and play early. We'll be fine, especially if we can get Lewis.
  13. SOUND THE BELLS! CROOTS ARE ON THE HORIZON!

  14. You don't even know the doldrums of Nebrasketball; dodging trains while walking home from the Bob in snow after losing by 30.
  15. Basketball, more than any other sport, is where freshmen can come in and succeed right away. There isn't a 2-3 year wait period for kids to grow into their bodies and adapt to a college S&C program. If kids can play, they'll make an impact immediately. Now we have your opinion. I disagree. That's fine. You're wrong, but that's fine. If by wrong you mean right then you're right. If not, you're wrong yet again. Which means you're on a great streak of absolute wrongness. If being wrong is wrong...you don't want to be right. Just the same, to think any athlete that is 17-18 years old can be dropped into any physical sport and compete right away...is shortsighted. BTW, My 2 year remark was about both redshirting talent and those sitting out for transfer rules. Malik Monk says hello Pretty much any freshman that Duke/Kentucky/Kansas have had the past 6 years also say hello. As does LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, etc.
  16. I see the Airing of Grievances has started early!
