  1. Better charge that phone. Fowler is right, however ESPN did have an axe to grind against the Big ten when they went to fox with the network, and Delaney didn't help things too much.
  2. What ever happened to the idea (probably never went past that) where the B1G and PAC 12 would play crossover OOC games and the sec and XII did the same? I believe the PAC 12 backed out of ours, maybe that was basketball can't remember for sure. It would make a lot of sense to have at least the PAC 12 and B1G have consistent OOC games vs each other and maybe have the other three work something out. Big XII SEC would make sense since there's a lot of familiar foes and bad blood, but the ACC seems to get left out in the rain.
  3. Lou Holtz? That video does a great job of showing what I think of that guy. I think he said his brain is cold, or coal. Not sure.
  4. I say put Moraine on the committee. All in favor +1 this post and a mod will make it happen. -1
  5. +1 for the awesome Cars tune. : I suddenly feel the need to watch Episode IV.
  6. Apparently it is that easy Kenny.
  7. The last line in there is something the overwhelming majority of announcers need to hear, and take to heart these days.
  8. My thoughts; oh what could have been... Sounds about right. Right now I feel like we are potentially a top 15 team, hence 17, but we have yet to really prove it and I don't know that we will really get that chance. The only thing we can do is win out.
  9. I disagree with a lot of what Kenney has said and done, but that doesn't give people the right to drop homophobic slurs and call the kid a douche and piece of trash.
  10. I believe if Tommy is given time in the pocket...he'll give any defense fits...he threw very well when given time.like most, if mot all, quarterbacks?......Eh...not all...he played one of his best games tonight passing the ball IMO though...He still can't throw screens and struggles with swing passes. But yeah probably his best all around passing game so far.
  11. How is that not a TD? Because he was down before the ball crossed the plane.
  12. That's disappointing. Think it's coached that way?Sorry I have to disagree. Yes it is coached that way at a Lot of schools all levels. You'll also notice narrow or wide splits sometimes depending on what block they're trying to execute. If anyone wants an example of why someone that doesn't understand blocking schemes and fundamentals shouldn't post about it.... Why should he not post about his observations so we can discuss them? Posting observation and asking OK. But stating a reason a player shouldn't be used to execute a play because of lack of knowledge, no. He stated it as an example as it was fact when in fact it was uninformed if he does this every time it gives the play away. When I played teams that did things like this were super predictable. Just slant into the guy showing is pull or even plug the backer and free shot to the rb We also pass with a similar blocking scheme (pulling linemen) so it's not as predictable as you might think.
  13. Same. Pretty good piece. On a lighter note, as a child of the 90s who rocked a bull cut I'm embarrassed by what I looked like .

Apparently targeting is now leaving your feet on a tackle out of bounds. But not leading with your head or hitting the opposing players helmet.

  19. Dana Holgorsen is pathetic. Has one of his guys in obvious pain being attended to and all he does is walk around the sidelines, even going to the bench and staring at the crowd as his man is coming off. Briles went on the field even though it wasn't his player.

  20. Stoops boys tag teaming the refs. Pretty comical.

  21. Seriously Polo? No one is even saying that. It's just a little funny that we get tOSU that many times before we even play Indiana, who at present could give almost any team a run for their money. Almost everyone in here has said they are in favor of playing as many top teams as we can each year. The displeasure comes from the fact that in order to do so we have to play all those teams on the road. We only get MSU at home and five other cupcakes including non con at home. We have to play 3 of the top 4 teams in the conference at their place and 2 others, that in any given year could round out the top 5 in the conference. Even you should be able to admit that we got shafted on that one. Just one of those games at home would have been nice, plus it might help the ticket sales since it looks like another crap home schedule similar to this year. I'd rather play Ohio st than Indiana every day of the week, bet the B1G likes that matchup better too. We didn't get shafted. Stop looking for bias where there's none. I'd rather play them too, but you'd think the conference would have made an effort for us to play everyone of the old guard with a home and away before we started repeating opponents. I'm sure the re-realignment didn't do them any favors though. Just because I think we got shafted, and think the B1G office is incompetent when it comes to scheduling doesn't mean I think they're bias. You can still be a moron and not be bias. Obviously they didn't put a whole hell of a lot of though into the scheduling, it doesn't take a genius to understand that if you are giving a team 4 and possibly 5 premier games in a year, you might want to give them more than one of those at home. Not for the sake of easing the load, but peaking program interest and revenue at home through ticket sales. For godsake the best home game we have doesn't even come until November 17th that year.
