  1. SE brings Pelini in on Monday and asks him for his take on the status of the program. SE then goes on to ask him what changes will be made. Beck gone. I have to figure something will change with cotton. Paps roll diminish significantly to make room for real DC. At least two coaches will be gone. Bo would be best served by bringing in a coordinator, on either side of the ball that has head coaching experience.
  2. I think Beck is gone and Paps will be reassigned.
  3. It doesn't mean anything. You really can't compare the two. Pelini has had atleast 13 games every season. He actually has 3 seasons with 14 games. TO only had one 13 game season. TO was 65-18-2 (85 games). Percentage of 78.3% (didn't count the ties) Pelini is 67-27 (94 games). Percentage of 71.3% You also want to leave out the legacy of the loses. Bo's loses are Chernobyl style. I am also tired of hearing how games like today are 'great wins'. Iowa sucks. Just like Northwestern 2013 (hail mary) sucked. Only thing shown today is that these kids are talented enough to overcome the scheme. I am excited about that.
  4. The aquarium was cleaned and serviced right before the Wisconsin game. He won't service it again until next Monday. That's when we will get the good stuff.
  5. It's almost over. One more win over Iowa and then the page will turn.
  6. Wrong...you don't have to pass when you rush for 500 yards. When something is working for the other side they pour it on. The whole thing is broken, not just parts of it. Well that's my point. Stopping the pass first against run first teams is incompetent. Read the post They don't stop anything. If a team had to pass they could. How many marginal QBs have put up solid numbers against a Bofense?....plenty. I'd have to rely on the stat geeks, but I know they are out there. They don't control the LOS. As jacked as many have been with the intermittent pass rush this year, it is only marginally better then the no pass rush from 2013. Wisky was 7-11 (64%) for 46 yards. It's not lock down pass coverage because a is ravaging you in the run game. I will bet that 46 yards passing moved the huskers up several spots in passing D.
  7. This has been my biggest issue over the last couple of years. Even when someone rips off 25 yards, where the hell is everyone? Bo's defenses don't swarm. They break the first level and you pray the a safety makes the play.

  9. I think Gordon was touched by 0-2 Huskers on his Sunday strolls into the end zone.
  10. Hey uh, Pap? If some of the players aren't wearing them and some are, then it's not really a collective decision, is it? Even a high school coach would have had enough sense to send his squad back to the locker room, telling them to come back out when they all wanted to be on the same team. There isn't a new coordinator in the world who could fix this mess. The tightest staff in America might also be the dumbest. Of course there isn't much incentive to improve when you knock down six figures for simply saying "yes" to Bo Pelini. I’m not going to say what the right thing that needs to be done because frankly, I don't really care. I can tell you what is going is the worst possible scenario. This is embarrassing. Who is in charge?
  11. It's not a new tradition. Bo is building on what Cosgrove started.
  12. Mailmen don't get fired....kind of like coach!
  13. I know that sounds good to you, but what happens if he turns this program into a bigger disaster than Bo? Bo's pretty f'ing far from perfect, but he's coached in the NFL and been on a NC staff, which is more than Joe... Weiss and Callahan coached in the NFL.
  14. What gets lost in all this "Bo needs to bring in a new OC/DC" is the other assistants. Bo isn't going to roll Cotton, Brown, Fisher...etc. It's too late for Bo. He's the problem.
  15. Read some of quotes in the article and tell me they don't directly address the gaps in the NU football program. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2014/11/13/no-1-coastal-carolina-on-rise-in-fcs-led-by-coach-and-former-td-ameritrade-ceo/
  16. He's a coward because he will accept this years play and we will continue down the same road next year. It was pretty straight forward. You already know how he will address the future of this team?
  17. He's a coward because of next years performance?
