  1. Maybe it is a difference in their assignments, but to me the next step for Gregory is to effect every play, especially on passes, with consistency (ala Alberts, Tomich, Wistrom, Rucker, Vanden Bosch). Right now he is ballin based on his freakish ability alone, and at times he really struggles to disengage blockers. Add a go to move or two, and he will be as good as it gets. Avery is no slouch either. That guy held the edge today like a champ, sometimes holding up 2-3 guys.
  2. Just wanted to give props to our offensive line. When healthy, they were our best group probably in 10 years. Now after the injuries they're still doing a pretty dang good job. Next week will be a test.

Well did you see the hit in the Bama/LSU game? Why didnt the LSU player get thrown? This rule may have good intentions, but again, the execution is just horrible.

Not related to my status, but yeah I agree with you. They didn't even call targeting there, when it was about as egregious as it gets.

  3. Tommy's knee hasn't been 100% all season. Just imagine the future cuts and quickness.
  4. Nebraska-35 Michigan-21. So it is written, so it shall be done.

I hope you are right, but I'm leaning towards Michigan 45, Nebraska 21

  5. Cochran wears a polo with sweatpants, therefore he is invalid.
  6. Regardless of whether or not he rebounds in the 2nd half, this game illustrates why Mariota is not a bigtime NFL. Poor footwork, pocket awareness, and accuracy. Bridgewater is leagues better.

Mariota is playing on a sprained MCL. Just FYI.

  7. Bet all those people who picked OU feel dumb.

  8. Just read the article. Sounds like a really great kid in a tough situation. Best of luck to Calvin.
  9. Could someone explain to me why Nick Saban would go to Texas. The NFL seems much more likely to me.

Saban isn't going to Texas. He can't cut players there like he can at Bama

Nuance. Texas is the riches program in the country. Riches AD in the country. I'm not sure it's even close. I read somewhere that even if it took 10 mil a year, Texas could/would do it. No one could be Texas in a bidding war. And it pisses me off. LOL

This was released by his AGENT. It is all about the benjamins.

  10. What's the deal with Tyler Evans? I know he's had injury problems but it seems like he'll make his way on the field every once in a while. He's an experienced scholly guy.
  11. First one was a bad decision, frosh or otherwise. Second I can live with, being 3rd and 20 in that twilight zone area of the field. He just took a chance and made a bad throw. Third, while an absolute killer, was a combination of inexperience in recognizing coverage, and a hurried throw as a result of AA whiffing in blitz pickup.
  12. Seems kind of silly to me. If you asked me what position we were deep at, wide receiver would be towards the top. Bell and Turner are dinged up, but we still have Quincy, Zo and Westerkamp (who should both be pretty fresh), Burtch, and I think Brandon Reilly could realistically contribute as well. To me, the only way I could see justifying taking defensive reps away would be if SJB is such a freak that he could add something we don't have, which he very well could be.
  13. Does this mean we are looking at moving Moss to DT? Noticed they had him line up over center a few times. I would say Moss would fit well as a 3-4 DE. VV would likely fit well as the NT. I would imagine McMullen would be the other DE of those who have played much so far. Collins would make a good 0-Tech guy as well. Especially on 3rd down.
  14. He's at best a 4th round pick. That's not a knock on him in any way, in fact I think he's going to be a big time contributor in the NFL. It's just the fact that 1)he doesn't have the frame to be a featured back in the pros 2)he's not going to run 4.4, maybe not even 4.5 and 3)running backs are not a hot commodity in the NFL right now. He'll be a Darren Sproles caliber of a 3rd down/change of pace back, and I think he has greater pro potential as a runner than Sproles.
  15. Been reading up on names for the hail mary yesterday. I think "The Chubby Chuck" is my favorite.

Not that the Chefs used to be cellar dwellers themselves, but each week I see their opponent and ask myself: seriously? Do they ever play anyone?!

I realize the chiefs are undefeated but they never play well in buffalo.

  17. Something about the way FSU's players carry themselves remind me of 90s Nebraska.

Ya I agree that Jameis has brought a swagger they've lacked in recent years. Both Ponder and Manuel really lacked that "it" factor.

Agree. He is an excellent leader. They were talking about how he addresses the whole team in the locker room before every game. I would love to see TA do that.

      OH HSKR FAN

TA was talking out loud after some of his picks today.

  18. Someone just brought it up in the presser, but let's not forget AA making that play on 4th and long. Almost as big as the hail mary.

And the goal line stand to force a FG!

  19. Considering how things have been on that side of the ball this season I give em an A+ today. They were great down the stretch.
  20. you're an idiot. With the passing quarterback in the game you want to run the ball. Stop thinking everyone that disagrees with you is clueless... I think your sarcasm-O-meter is broken. So is yours....I've been trolling....it helps me during stressful times to take nothing seriously. It's a troll inside a troll inside a taco bell inside a KFC inside a mall. Inception...
  21. you're an idiot. With the passing quarterback in the game you want to run the ball. Stop thinking everyone that disagrees with you is clueless... Meh, like Tom said "three things can happen when you throw it and only one of them is good." I like my odds running it there.
