      Tom Osborne also inherited a great football team from Bob Devaney and played in a much weaker conference. Plus, like dizzturbed said, football was different back then.

    You have to have a good secondary for Bo's scheme. This year we just dont have it. Green isn't good, Evans isn't good, Thorell isn't good, Blatchford isn't good, Cassidy isn't good. Said since day 1 I said that Washington should have got looks but Bo doesn't always play the best players as we've seen. Not getting Jackson and Tevin Mitchell didn't help either

    Our D line will be alright. Compton will be a good LB but after that we need A LOT of ppl to step up. Idc if we have to play Debo we need someone. Secondary will be ass besides Stafford at this moment.

      Good job on the road Huskers. Big Ten ran the table today, everyone won.

    The B12 would have been the same if not tougher this year. Those offenses would have destroyed our defense. Recruiting wont be affected in anyway shape or form. B10 is a WAY better fit though. Look out next year because we only lose 2 players on offense and 2 on defense/David & Dennard are going to be very tough to replace though.

    He's having a Niles Paul senior season. Everyone is waiting for him to be a leader and get a few 100 yd receiving games. Just drops and disappointment.

    I have a hunch that Mich St loses one of its last 2 games, but beating Michigan and Iowa is no easy task. This is obviously the best scenario but we could still have a shot at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl but Stanford might get the nod at the moment. Otherwise we pack up and play in the Capitol One Bowl against an SEC team.

    Gonna be a very tough game next weekend, but I at least want to have a chance to go even though we lost that privilege last weekend.

    I think we all know the situation here but as long as we take care of business we had a good season no matter what, but obviously the B10 Championship is our goal here. We need either Indiana or Northwestern to beat Michigan State. Indiana is coming off a bye week but its Indiana. Northwestern will have them at home for their last game of the season which I think should be a good game. Either way we still need to beat Michigan and Iowa. Solid win today. GBR

    Dont know why Turner doesn't play anymore, I guess attitude, but Pelini is notorious for disappearing players. Kinnie isn't doing anything
