What qualities made Devaney a championship coach. What qualities made Osborne a championship coach? What did they instill in the players to make them expect to win, believe, and achieve? How did they instill it? How did they get their assistants to constantly strive for excellence? Without people in administration asking or knowing the answers to these questions, I see NO REASON to expect NU to ever return to national relevance.

Here is what blows my mind. In the world I live in, I am not given the latitude or authority to make a decision which would cost my employer lets say $10,000. So how the heck does a new guy like Eichhorst get the latitude to just unilaterally bring in this DUDE and his cronies which cost the University a bunch of money. Arent there a bunch of donors or something who actually know football who would look at Eichorst sort of laugh out the corner of their mouth and go "Hell no you got to be kidding right?, Now run along Jr." I dont get it. Suh was the most physically dominating defensive Husker I ever saw. Been watching since 83. Week after week blue chip O line were on their back and embarassed. Never saw anything like that. Saw Glover on tape. Excellent excellent player. Wistrom was great.

There is now no such thing as a good clean hit. They are all potentially dangerous and need to be banned from the game. Further, it is necessary that we should use 5 minutes of replay to determine if two helmets contacted one another, and if this happens the player must be ejected. We can simply not tolerate hard hits above the stomach, and these players need to made examples of. After all millions of dollars are at stake with the health and future of this game, and really isn't that what it's all about?

Some times a group of coaches has the other teams number for some reason. With regard to MN the coaching change was a good one for us. Also I like our chances against Iowa.
