  1. Being at Aushwitz-Birkenau "live" and knowing all the history would be indescribable. I also thought about the T-Rex thing or just going back to where my childhood home is but 300+ years ago before the area had civilization (except maybe some indians). I would lump the "Battle of the Bulge" in with Aushwitz also. I love watching and reading things about WWII and would have to say that I would travel back to that time. I would also visit the Phillipines and witness the Bataan Death March.
  2. A&M is off to a great start for 2014. They have 2 of the the top LBs and 2 of the top CBs out of Texas. Sumlin is doing wonders.

I was told this last night, was actually looking for confirmation before I said anything lol! I guess Marrow going to Kentucky was the end of the world hehe.

  4. Hahahahaha Bo did not have the Miami job at all...holy cow! This is good stuff What is good stuff is the fact that you spew sh#t from your mouth claiming it is "inside" stuff and it turns around being false making you looked ever so stupid.
  5. How is this scheme...Isn't a scheme something that is made to put players in the position to make plays? If so, the scheme worked just not the players. I think is is a talent issue and that is going to be changing in the coming years with the classes we have brought in.
  6. Reading on 247 main recruiting board, a lot of Bama fans think they will offer him. The have struck out on a few of their others and think Cook is top 2 or 3 in the state as a DB.
  7. * A large amount of money at gives them a primary reason to come to Nebraska * Tosh went to Washington - without any prior relationship to Leach (that I know of anyway) - for 500k/year. He was making 165k per year at Cal before the move. There are a multitude of top-notch recruiters in the same position that would jump at the chance to concentrate on building a team as the Recruiting Coordinator and ST coach (or another position where we could reasign someone to STs) Because of Sarkisian, not Leach who coaches at Washington St...But I do like the thoughts of offering him if the chance comes.
  8. This would be very doable...Joe doesn't need the money and has stated so which would leave more for the assistants. that in turn would make them want to stay longer, unless a HC job comes calling.
  9. I'm surprised you haven't fell over yet Hedley...You know, from all the back pedaling you seem to be doing now.
  10. Yea, and how's that working for USC or Texass? Bingo...Rankings are great and all but I have to agree with the OP and look at the said recruits offer list. To me, that is a better indication of how good that player is or could be then a service putting a couple stars by the kids name. I will also listen to a few guys on this board about recruiting before I listen to some services...Paul, EZ, Fowler are a few that really seem to know what they are talking about when it comes to recruits...EZ does a fantastic job with some write-ups on the recruits that we get and gives good perspective of the said recruits.
  11. I think it is a good hire for Arky and a bad loss for the B1G. He may be a d******d but he can coach.
  12. so tell me how many conference titles have we won with Bo? how many BCS bowls have we made? how many have we won? you are putting too much stock in the 9 win year crap. And your putting to much stock in Strong going to a BCS in his 3rd years while coaching in the big east...Look at his previous 2 yrs and tell me how GOOD he has done. As far as him making the BCS...The sun can shine on a dogs ass every once in awhile. Don't get me wrong...I think Strong is a good coach but to compare him coaching in the Big East to Bo coaching in the Big12 and B1G is a joke.
  13. Go to rumorville up at the top of the football page...There is a great thread about this...You will laugh, atleast I did.
  14. The thing I liked about Santos was, he attacked the LOS when he seen it was a run play. The others seemed to wait on the play to come to them.
  15. Who do you think was running the offense before he toke over. It is no different then Boise St when Hawkins left and Peterson toke over. These coaches were the OCs of the teams they toke over. He was also OC at New Hampshire. Difference between OC and HC. plus his recruits leave early and he already has his recruits in place so there was no dip in performance. Can't say that about Bo. Oregon was good when he was the OC and running his offense, nothing changed when he took over for Belloti. He is still the play caller for them and will continue to be until he leaves. He took over a program that was winning because he was apart of them winning. He didn't take over a program that was in shambles. Our program wasn't in shambles. we were just terrible for 2-3 years. Now Bob Stoops took over a program that was in worse shape and in 2 years won a NC. that was his first HC job. quit acting like Bo took over a program that hadn't won a game. 5 years before stoops took over OU was 6-6,5-5-1 3-8,4-8,5-6. quit acting like Bo hasnt done anything here. Your arguement is stupid.

  18. I went with Franklin...I think he has done a great job at Vandy coaching and recruiting. give him our resources and he could do wonders.
  19. And it wasn't even that close if you watched the game.
  20. Bo turned Callys guys into NFL players. They had the talent but Bo is the one that got them to where they are at.
  21. I say burn down the university and then we can all become Jayhawk fans.
  22. Ok. I hear'ya. Now let's flip. If Beck's 100% responsible for the offense. and Papuchis is 100% responsible for the defense, then let's fire Bo and hire a GA for 75,000 a year to sit in the big chair. Obviously Papuchis's responsibilies are more than just signaling. But Bo is the ultimate brain behind the defense. Most teams have a full time OC and full time DC. The HC doesn't just have a head coaching title and then act like a coordinator behind the curtain. Are you saying bobby bowden was an expendable body during FSU's rise to greatness? Bo is the "ultimate brain" behind everything, not just the defense. HE is the one that wanted a spread-option offense when he came to NU, not the West-Coast stuff that Callahan had. He was willing to continue it his first year because that's what his offensive returning starters including Joe Ganz were used to. HE is the one that so desperately wanted a dual-threat QB, that he forced TMart into the starting role from Martinez's redshirt freshman year day 1. HE is the one that fired Shawn Watson. So Bo is NOT just a phantom D-coordinator. He oversees the whole operation, which is what head coaches do. The fact that he is a previous D-coordinator doesn't mean he's still the D-coordinator now. Papuchis should be fired. Exactly. I mean look at Michigan. Established DC and OC and Hoke walks around without a headset for half the game. Result: 8-4...oops. So you chose Michigan as your example, instead of say, Ohio St, Bama, LSU, Oklahoma, etc? Yep, best not to let facts get in the way of a good argument. And you apparently don't know much about tOSU, Bama, and Oklahoma...Urban is the mastermind behind that offense, Saban is the defensive mind for Bama and Stoops is the same for OU. If you say any different, then you do not pay attention very well. Bo is no different then the forementioned coaches in that he is the one behind the D and the schemes we run.
