Just got done watching " Eureka ". not a bad series

Fry was a great coach and mentor to alot of people in todays game. Just look at the list of guys that learned from him: Bill Snyder, Dan McCartney, Barry Alvarez, Bob and Mike Stoops, Jim Leavitt, Chuck Long, Brett Bielema and Bo also coached under him. The guy might not of won alot of games but he was a great teacher.

I tried the rental route a long time ago. It seemed to be a no-brainer. The rent makes the payments and ...viola.........soon you have a property financed by someone else. Buy a few more and get wealthier! BUT.........unless you are skilled enough to to some plumbing and carpentry work and basically be "on call 24/7"..........it can kill you. The other factor is that the courts/law have given renters so many rights, you can easily get screwed. I got out before I lost my a$$............. Can I ask what kind of issues you ran into? I'm probably not a good "model" for the average potential landlord. For one thing, outside of basic grunt work like lifting, hauling, scraping, painting and general repairs..........I had to have electricians, plumbers, etc on speed dial since I am utterly unskilled for those types of specific work. And even though I tried to be cautious with potential renters, legally, you really have to be open to just about anyone. Consequently, I was burned a few times, but the final one drove me out. She was utterly amoral; bereft of any semblance of conscience and a total scum. (I hope that fairly covers it). After patiently putting up with excuses while she ran up 6 months rent and trashed the house, I tried to fairly negotiate with her but she knew her "rights". Finally, the Sheriff told me to put up an eviction notice and then wait (I think 30 days....It was a long time ago), and then she was supposedly officially evicted...........but she wouldn't leave. The sheriff told me I could move her "things" onto the front lawn, but if she didn't claim them, the city would and CHARGE me for the service. (Did I mention that the house was virtually destroyed inside? Or that rather than put her infants dirty diapers in the garbage, she just tossed them in the closet and closed the door until it was full?). Anyway, this is resurrecting bad memories. Like I said, I am not a good example here, but I cleaned up that place, sold it for a song and learned a lesson. Good luck to you...... We are very selective on who we rent too. We will run credit checks and call references for info about the potential renter. We will also drive by the current residents of potential renter and look at how they keep things. All of this is legal and does take time but it is something that should be done if you are investing money into rentals.

I own several rentals and have for a few years. They are a great investment if you have the time and patience for it. A lot of people shy away from doing them because they think it is a pain in the a$$ but it really isn't if you are picky on who you let rent from you.

With all those 3* players, whoever says the SEC is a tough confrence is full of sh!t In the SEC, as of today, 06/19/12... Arkansas presently has 9 commits, all of them 3 . Auburn has 13 commits 9 of which are 3 . Florida has 18 commits 8 of which are 3 . Georgia has 19 commits 9 are 3 . Kentucky has 4 commits all are 3 or lower. LSU has 16 commits, 5 are 3 . Mississippi State has 10 commits, 6 are 3 . Missouri has 13 commits, 9 are 3 . Ole Miss has 12 commits, 9 are 3 or lower. South Carolina has 17 commits 13 are 3 . Tennessee has 12 commits, at least 5 are 3 several others there's no info. Texas AM has 20 commits, 10 are 3 . Vanderbilt has 13 commits, 10 are 3 . And that's just in the SEC. So, to summarize: Only an incredibly small HANDFUL of teams; Alabama, LSU, USC, etc get more 4 or 5 than they do 3 or lower.

As a father of a 3 yr old girl, I would have absolutely done the same thing. To me, there is nothing more innocent then a young girl and to have some guy violate her like that just makes me sick. like Aspeed said, i would buy this guy a beer or two.

Wouldn't the B1G make more money off its own network broadcasting Tier 2 games instead of ABC/ESPN? Isn't most of the Teir 2 games regional when they are broadcasted by the big networks as where they would be broadcast nationally with the B1G network?

I have this book also and it is very informitive. He has one for basic weight training and one for powerlifting. They are basicly the same except his views on diets when it comes to powerlifting.

The problem with this data is that the timeline is from 1998-2011. We were apart of the Big12 and contributed to their numbers and not the B1G. Take out our rankings for the 4-5 yrs we were on top and that changes some things up.

no surprise.........mack daddy gets the pick of the litter in texass.
