Honestly, that's on Pelini moreso than the officials. Pelini had a challenge available and didn't use it. If it there was ever a time to try and get a call overturned, it's to get a pass ruled incomplete switched around that results in a 1st and Goal from the ~2 yard line. I don't think a judgment call can be reviewed. And AFAIK, that was the correct call since Enunwa didn't complete the catch all the way to the ground. He made a football move. He extended the ball, after catching it, with one hand for the endzone after rotating his body forward and having a hand and knee to the ground.

Picking up some goods downtown before the game we ran into some early 20's Badger fans and they seemed pretty nice. Had a short conversation while we were in line before they took off. No problems here.

Glad I read before posting. This is exactly what I was thinking. I clapped when Idaho State scored. I felt sorry for them. If we have a chance to run up the score Saturday, by all means, go for it!

Got a buddy with a 12lb 6oz largemouth bass on his wall! If you were one of the few people there that day then you know that he caught the fish by snagging him in the eye! Point being, in 20 years when the janitorial service at memorial stadium is dusting all the trophies, they won't remember or care that this was a down year for the conference! I wouldn't read into either of these very much. Kansas State has had Oklahoma's number for years. Even when they are a marginal team.

He ran 30 times! Along with helping block, running routes, and special teams! He had a full day! His biggest ever in college! There are some 3-4 year starters in college that probably have never had that workload! Even as great and durable as Rex is, he would've been gassed too! Excellent point. With the quality and depth of our RB's, I dont think any of them need to carry the rock 30 times in a game. That was kind of my point. He showed he can't handle all that. That is why we need Rex to take some of those carries away because even with Cross and Heard he got 30. Cross and Heard should have gotten a few more carries. AA would have been fine with around 20.

It's not like we all don't have some sense of reality. I predicted we would go 9-3 in the regular season and I still think that is the case. I just thought we would lose to NW, OSU, and MICH. I flipped on the Michigan now that Fitz isn't getting his act together. Bashing us for being kool-aid drinkers and hoping for better when we see things work doesn't make you any better than us.
