Uh more or less 19 years, minus a few years when a few high-school classmates made me lose faith.

Born in Omaha, pretty much standard

Eric Crouch's long ass run.

I don't know what the general consensus is on this event, but probably would say Callahan being hired or when Keller transfered

I'm 'SkersRule and I love Nebraska. I played DT in high school and contrary to some people's opinion I am not Uncle Rico. That being said I can talk X and O's with anyone at a coaches level. Granted I haven't been able to do that yet but it is the off-season. I have a wickedly sarcastic sense of humor and feet that smell either like bad meat or good cheese depending on your preference. I don't really have smelly feet. I just thought I'd put that "disclaimer" in since certain posters are unable to pick up on jokes, sarcasm, or self appreciating humor. See what I did there? Anyhoo, I always hope for the best but expect the worst and like a miracle from Jesus the worst always seems to happen; Texas '10, Iowa State '09, Northwestern '11, et al. I dearly want to love, support, and root for Taylor Martinez. However, I am realistic as to his rather obvious limitations and short-comings as a QB. As such while I root for Nebraska, and by proxy Taylor, I have this nagging feeling--sort of like an insane itch and drip from an STD--that no matter what happens Nebraska is at best a 9-3 team counting only the regular season of course. Further, Bo Pelini is like Bernie Madoff constantly hyping his stocks and products sight unseen. Sorry Bo I'm going to have to see it before I believe it and that includes how much Taylor has improved throwing the rock. Other than that I live in Seattle and am a financial advisor.

5) Favorite Husker memory? many to choose from, but here's a couple faves: Scott Frost's postgame speech at the 98 Orange Bowl, the ballshaking loudness of the stadium when Crouch caught that pass against OU in 2001

 

6) Worst Husker memory? the physical illness that resulted from watching the Texas Tech game in 2004

2) What/who led you to The Nation? My brothers and I watched the Huskers play the Sooners every Thanksgiving Day on the Air Force network. We were in elementary school at that time. Just young kids. We didn't realize we would eventually end up living in Nebraska. We were Husker fans when we arrived.

 

3) Where are you from originally? Philippines

 

4) Where do you live now? La Vista, NE

 

5) Favorite Husker memory? Watching the Huskers play the sooners Thanksgiving day in the Philippines as a little kid. Who knew we would end up in Nebraska?

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Signed autograph from Ndamukong Suh and Joe Ganz. I'm not much of an autograph seeker, but my 10 year old at the time wanted their autographs. Both are fine gentleman and they didn't hesitate to give us their autographs on a Husker magazine.

I first remember watching Nebraska with my babysitter when my dad and his brothers went out to watch the 95 Orange Bowl. I wanted to watch cartoons but she wanted to watch the game... I'm glad she won that argument.

5) Favorite Husker memory?

I would have to say Suh's pick against Colorado in 2008. Not only because I was there (I've been fortunate enough to witness a lot of great moments in my young age) but just the significance of the moment. We were on the brink of losing and having to ask a bunch of questions, but Henery makes the kick and Suh gets the pick. And just the way he authoritatively ran over Hawkins, it was just a bonechilling sign that Nebraska is back.

6) Worst Husker memory?

2002 Colorado game. Lost. Ended season 7-6. Just sitting in the North Stadium after the game, watching celebrating Colorado players leaving the field and trying to just get a grip on what was actually happening. The gravitation of our program right before our eyes.
