I will say this much- it certainly wasn't surprising. His play at Nebraska was so-so, and he was certainly no better than Taylor who went undrafted. He was supposed to have a bazooka arm, but I never saw it. He wasn't terribly accurate or mobile either. He was middle of the pack in the Big XII and he had some personality issues. Quarterbacks like that don't get drafted. Quote Link to comment

He seemed to run the 2-minute drill to perfection at NU. Of course, that's not the whole package. SK may need a season or two in the Arena League before he gets another serious look. He can't control that. He was a solid player who said the right things and did the right things. He took responsibility for everything that went wrong on the field including a huge list of things he never had control about and he was the most well spoken people at any press conference including the millionaire coaches. He played for NEBRASKA He worked hard for NEBRASKA He came here when and did his best to help out a NEBRASKA team He did his job--take any defense from the mid 90's and put them with last year's team and we are talking BCS if not NC.
