HUSKER 37
Would we have to stay away from the downtown bars? Probably a dealbreaker for most of you Wow...one more guy and we actually have two complete squads (not counting punters...but they aren't real football players anyway). Of course...as commissioner I'm tempted to declare Jayhawk ineligible just because I can.... But...I've instructed my son to make sure he's the only one on the field dressed in Pink when the games take place...oh...and he'll be the only player with one leg. The boy is looking forward to putting the teams together and playing..he only rolled his eyes once and laughed a couple of times when he looked at the list. Coaches? Volunteers or nominations anyone? By the way..as many people can sign on as want to. Bigger draft pool and less guys having to go both ways is a good thing....not that I hold guys going both ways against you if that's what floats your boat. Actually...I knew a woman who played both sides and....uh...well....that's a story for another day! Soon I hope! I almost always hated going both ways..Except that one time I was a pulling guard and was so fast off the snap, I ended up with the snap and scored untouched..(in a scrimmage). Can we use our playing weight?.. Back when I could still slamdunk a basketball? And was able to cheat on my 40 time by taking a shortcut? If so, I was 5'10" 190# Outside LB/DE. Course, now I'm 5'11" Weightless on my bathroom scales (300Lbs?) and can barely touch the net and afraid I'd get lapped in the 40.. But I can still benchpress my weight Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
It's all good. If I wind up playing against someone like Jayhawk with his freak of nature height at 6'8", I'll just bite him in the knee caps Quote Link to comment

Cy the Cyclone
When are the teams going to be picked and when is the first game? I'm ready to hit someone! I'm cutting off the sign up on Friday at noon. For a draft, since nobody volunteered to coach, I'm just going to throw the names in a hat and draw them randomly till everybody is on a team. To assign positions I'm going to apply Cyclone logic...the first round picks are the QB, 2nd round...HB, 3rd round...FB. etc. Then I'll post the teams and you all can swap positions or whatever it is you want to do. Once I get you all punched into this new-fangled electric fun-toy I'm hoping to play the first game next Saturday and post the results on Monday including stats. Just to keep it fun for me and realistic for you, I'm going to "cover" the teams so don't be surprised if I you see an interview or quote attributed to yourselves that you didn't actually say and maybe a weekly human interest story which we KNOW would have to be made-up... jayhawk
Wow...one more guy and we actually have two complete squads (not counting punters...but they aren't real football players anyway). Poor Jayhawk. So nice to Cy, so hated in return. You cannot make me hate the Cyclones, far too fine a fan base. Where else do I go to the game and people are happy I came, well a few places, but Ames was one of them.... Sorry Cy, we only hate people who are worthy of that awful distinction, basically Missouri. We don't even mostly hate K-State, but they hate us for that, which is an odd dynamic. Oh, and please don't make me one legged and pink. I want my chance at glory like everyone else. Quote Link to comment

Please make me the same color as the rest of my team, and if you refuse to use Crimson and Blue, maybe a nice Orange (non burnt prefered)... Red is good, works for GBR, Rock Chalk and Whatever Iowa State says that no one outside Iowa knows but I am sure is very nice and noble in its own special way... Quote Link to comment
