But the players need to be bigger, stronger, smarter, faster than who they play. 4 or 5 games they won't be. And you need a lot of luck. We have had very little of that either. Put the bong down. I'd be surprised if Lucky only has 315 rushing yards through the first three games. Wilson rushes for 30 yards Helu rushes for 20 Mendoza rushes for 10 and catches for another 40 yards NU @ Kansas State Wildcats – The struggling Wildcats have lost seven of their last eight games. The woes continue as Nebraska's Joe Ganz puts up 110 yards in the first quarter and 215 going in to the half. The Huskers lead it 27-3 at the half. The second half kickoff showcases the talents of Niles Paul as he takes it 89 yards to the house. Watson hands the game over to the running backs and the Wildcats can do nothing to stop it. Seniors Peterson and Swift have solid performances as the Huskers cruise to 56-7 win. Both teams try to get it done through the ground. OU, lead by Murray takes the early lead again on the Huskers. They lead it 17-10 at the half. Huskers mix it up with a combination of play action, read options, and spread option. The unpredictable Huskers are able to get it done through trickery. Huskers have a 24-20 lead going in to the 4th. Huskers defense keeps OU in check but it's the Sooners defense that comes through in the end. Watson calls on Castille to pick up a 3rd and short but a fumble scoop and score for the Sooners will decide the game. OU wins again. Sooners 27 Huskers 24 Nebraska finishes the season tied with Missouri for first in the North. Sooners make the Fiesta Bowl while the Huskers are set to meet the Gators in the Sugar. -May seem far fetched but not impossible. Huskers don't play any unwinnable games this year.
