tattooedhusker
they'll still have the same AD (who's retiring after the next semester), wouldn't it be funny (since he catches a lot of heat) if he hired another sh#t coach to take over just inspite of it? Quote Link to comment
holvy83
Coaching announcements during the season are coming more than usual. To me that kind of is a downer for the players and the AD to mangle their way to the end of the season. But Prince getting canned is just friggin awesome Quote Link to comment

Husker_freak774
Things just got a little better for k-state and maybe worse for us. Prince resigned and this shows how easy it was for k-state to let him go, they say they might hire a new coach before the season is even over. BYE BYE PRINCE I'LL MISS YOU (and our blowout wins) Quote Link to comment

topekahusker
At best, it was a 'forced resignation' as the AD said the job was performance based and Prince in the news conference said it wasn't his decision. Â BTW, this thread is in the wrong place and will be moved. It doesn't have anything to do with the Huskers other than a coach of a conference opponent. Quote Link to comment
SkerMin8r
Well, crap. I was hoping Prince would stay for at least another ten years... Â Not to worry AR. With FHCRP's little JUCO stunt last year he has basically rendered KSU obsolete for the next 6 or 7 years at least...if not permanently... Quote Link to comment
strigori
I've been told that KState is going hard and heavy after TCU's coach. Â TCU is a better program and job than KSUcks. Granted the big 12 is a better conference, but i wouldnt leave TCU for KSUcks. Â Dennis Franchione left TCU when it was a better team than probation riddled Alabama. I'm guessing he might want to get into a BCS conference? There is a world of difference between Alabama and KSU. 'Bama is one of the most tradition laden programs, and among the tops in all time wins as well. KSU holds the record for all time losses. Â I think the odds of Fulmer, or one of the Bowdens are better odds. Quote Link to comment

HANC
One of my assistant coaches is a big KSU fan (why I haven't fired him is beyond me), but he for one is glad Prince is gone. He has wanted this day to come for over a year now. He said sources in Manhatten all point to KSU going after Patterson. But didn't he turn down a ton of money to go to Minnesota last year. Patterson did play at KSU, so there is a connection here. Â Any chance Fulmer or Willingham take a look? Travis Justice (douche) commented by saying KSU should hire Turner Gill. I would love to see them struggle through the years trying to build a program. Â Also mentioned that AD may be gone too soon. Suggested that KSU may try to talk Snyder into becoming AD, like Osborne. All of this is just RUMORS from KSU. Quote Link to comment
