Washington's Visit

Recommended Posts

gave it a 9 out of 10 (would have given it a 10 if not for the snow), and said he'll make a decision this week if i remember correctly.

might visit Mizzou also

I think we may have closed if Mizzou hadn't jumped into the mix. I guess Martin is visiting ASU next week.

We're stuck waiting it out. With how well we finished the season and how little we had left I didn't expect us to be scrambling to fill the class, thought we might even have to turn a guy or two away.

Oh but I think Nebraska has been turning them away. Once Rex committed, McBurse lost his spot. Plenty of CBs had an interest, but there's simply no room at that position. JPP may be another case. Myles Wade was a guy that Nebraska wasn't willing to take a chance on him being eligible. As the recent article said Nebraska is choosing to be choosy with these last few spots.

If you look at the numbers, the current class would put Nebraska over the 85 limit. Some more attrition is needed. I don't know if that will come with academics, gray shirts, or what (supposedly Bo does not expect there to be anymore attrition from the current roster), but Nebraska isn't going to overfill a position or take a sub-par player at this point (I hope).
