JGS30
Ya'll better hope you beat MU in Columbia, otherwise, this dude is gonna go bonkers on this site! NU has had some bad luck throughout this spring, but things aren't near as bleak as this Tiger fan makes them out to be. Husker fans will have a very rude awakening when they watch their new QB struggle and their skill players on offense take a step back from the group they had last year, but I think the defense will help pull them through on most of their games in the North....except for the Kansas game of course. Sorry Husker fans-I had to get my Jayhawk jab in....I can't help it. I really can't wait to get you boys back in Lawrence for a little "Payback". Reesing, Sharp and Meir on "Senior Day" equals trouble for the Big Red! OK, back to hating Missouri!! Quote Link to comment

I agree about our defense pulling us through some games, however, I must tweak your argument about our offense. While I do think we took a step back offensively, it was really only in two areas: the WR position and quarterback position. Here are the positives of our situation: 1) Zac Lee is physically a better QB then Joe Ganz. He has more arm strength, speed, and has taken a JUCO team to a national championship. Granted, it's JUCO, but still. 2) Helu and Castille are arguably two of the best backs in the Big 12. Their numbers don't show it considering they had to split time with Lucky last year, but they are both very talented. Castille sliced and a diced the best defense Nebraska had seen all year in Clemson for 125 yards. And Helu put up 800+ yards, more than half of which came in the final four games. 3) We lost two OL starters, but the entire left side of our line (center, guard, and tackle) are returning starters. This year, expect Nebraska to revisit the days of old a little bit by running the ball more than they did in 2008. Probably won't see a lot of the option or the Oz-bone, but you will see more running plays in order to help spur our passing game. Quote Link to comment
Huskers Forever
I just glanced over a few of the topics over of tiger board and discovered what utter chaos it is on that site. Now I really like beating Mizzou, but I don't hate them by any means. I respect what they've done and they've handed us some pretty embarassing losses this decade. But come on! the hatred some of them have for Nebraska is insane! some one even goes by "Huskerh8ter" on that site. Are they just more of fans against Nebraska, or do they actually cheer for Mizzou once in a while? I'm really hoping for the Skers to show up big on the national stage that evening against the Tigers. I'm pretty sure huskerh8ter is the guy who lives in Omaha, and even has an anti Husker website. I'm sure his life will be a living hell when we start kicking their ass again..lol Quote Link to comment
nhuskers5
I can't wait till we destroy mizzou and all these fans will have nothing to say.....it gets old Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Best thing about the "alleged" global warming If it happens, Columbia will be under 40 ft of water. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
after venturing over to tigerboard i was reminded why i never bothered to sign up or visit there... a bunch of inbred idiots on that site.... this was a mizzery pay-site...to say scout. if you have to pay to be a fan, then there's something wrong then. You have to be paid to be a Mizzery fan? Oh, I get it Quote Link to comment
Enhance
We can still bask in the glory of our huge series lead over them Quote Link to comment

Probably won't see a lot of the option or the Oz-bone, but you will see more running plays in order to help spur our passing game. I would like to expand/add to your points: 1) I don't really know what to think about Zac Lee. He sure shows alot of promise, but it's just hard to say when he's just practicing. Will he be as good in real game situations as he has been in practice? Well, only playing in games will tell us that. But as you said, he lead a JUCO team to a national championship. Yeah, it's only JUCO, but JUCO is better than high school... 2) Castille stepped up BIG TIME in the Clemson game. I was really happy that he finally showed what he could do. Now, consistency will be key for him. Helu, well, he has shown everybody what he can do. Not just in one game, but several games in a row - especially once Lucky was out with an injury. I'm very excited to watch him this year. 3) Yes, but I think Cotton is on to something by putting Caputo at center. He could be something very special. Assuming they stick with this, I would watch out for him this year. He's going to be GOOD. 4) Oh, you didn't have a number four. Quote Link to comment

Gotta say that my favorite B-12 QB (outside of NU's) is Todd Reesing. The kid exudes moxie and does so without being arrogant.....something the consumer of nose fruit from Porn Shop U. never figured out. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Ahhh huskerh8ter, the douche from the ESPN forums. He is as pathetic as they come and a complete tool. He came on complaining one day after they were killed by OU that our fans kept coming over to their boards, yet had no problem with himself being on our boards constantly. I called him on his hypocrisy and he threw a tantrum. Let's just say that he is nothing more that some friggin idiot who knows absolutely nothing. Quote Link to comment
