knapplc
They know people will buy the NU game. Who in there right mind would buy a KU game Winner winner chicken dinner. It's all about where they can make the most money. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
Our loyalty has kinda ended up screwing us in terms of PPV games... unless its a game of national interest, or even if there is some intrest, FSN is going to put it on PPV and make us pay... Its all about money Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
Well then stop buying the PPV games. I did years ago, but I just can't justify paying $30 to watch a single game. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I like going to a large bar that gets it and watching the PPV games. It's almost like being in the stadium. Quote Link to comment

UGAHusker
Well, for one thing, they play Northern Colorado. Second, if you have players on a team that'll stab each other, I think you should get to be on TV whenever the hell you want to be. http://origin.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,224138,00.html Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
I can remember when most of the games were on RADIO ONLY. For people that live in western Nebraska, the pay-per-view option is a vast improvement over no tv at all. Save for the people who live within close driving distance of Lincoln, going to the stadium isn't an option, so $30 to buy the game is reasonable. There was a time when NU was televised against one out-of-conference team and maybe two conference schools. That was prior to the Big 12 days. Imagine those days, three of 10 regular season games televised, plus one bowl game. As it stands now, the Huskers will be televised for six games, not including the Big 12 title game if we can get there. It is hard for me to believe that Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Kansas won't be regular cable options. And there could very well be more pay-per-view options. People can buy pay-per-vew or go to bars so there is actually a chance for fans to see nearly every game NU plays. Quote Link to comment
