AngryHusker88
I'm concerned if Khiry Cooper is the starter...I haven't seen anything out of him all season - in fact the only wide receivers who have done anything for us are Paul, Gilleylen, Holt & Brooks. If he is the starter, then GL to him & I hope he has a great game Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Can't imagine Paul is in any trouble after his fourth quarter at Mizzou. Whatever works to get the ball down the field, though, rock and roll. Quote Link to comment

I'm guessing Khiry worked his ass off in practice and coaches have noticed and hes getting his shot. I think its REALLY exciting because we seem to know what Holt, Paul, and Curenski and gonna give us. They are all solid, but why not see if a guy who is working hard can come in a bring something different/better. That being said with him "Starting" it doesn't mean much because if the coaches see something they don't like he could get benched quick. Quote Link to comment
cscott2win
Anytime Holt is on the field we are playing with only 10 as far as I am concerned. (maybe now he'll have a good game!) Quote Link to comment
admo
You would think that someone, or a few of these guys have to be thinking "this is a golden opportunity for me. When I'm out there I'm going after every ball and bringing it in." And then just do it. Quote Link to comment

If Khiry plays, I hope he flashes the ability that we all think he has. Quote Link to comment

I know Khiry's girlfriend and she told me he is starting for Meno..Khiry is a good friend so I hope he kills it Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I hope he hits a homerun. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Glad Gilmore is finally getting it through his head that familiarity doesn't equal results. Meno doesn't do jack. Curenski comes and goes. Niles is consistently inconsistently. Time to shake stuff up and put some new blood in there. Heck, throw in a big dose of Antonio Bell while we are at it. Incandenza
Heck, throw in a big dose of Antonio Bell while we are at it. Might as well. Nothing in the game ever screamed Cooper's superiority over Bell or Kinnie. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
I hope he hits a homerun. and that too. I wonder if he regrets missing spring ball. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
no matter what we think, i hope the coaches have always played the kids that can help the most.....i can't imagine doing it any differently. Quote Link to comment
predictionking
I'm not trying to make excuses for our receivers. But I'd like to delay their funeral until after they play a quality team in dry conditions...... at home. Today is big for the wideouts and Zac Lee. Quote Link to comment
