huzkerbob Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 So it appears that the Pacific club must have felt so bad for all the other defenders in the country that they decided to award at least one defensive trophy to someone not named Ndamukong Suh. Why else would they award the Lott trophy to Jerry Hughes? It certainly wasn't his on field performance that swayed them, considering Suh had a better numbers in EVERY statistical category. I guess the "personal character" provision must have played a big role this year. Considering that, I assume Hughes must have spent his off time saving stray kittens and teaching orphans to read. Otherwise I would have to assume they made a huge mistake on this one! Quote Link to comment
