jsneb83 Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 I went with Burkhead. We saw flashes of what he can do last season, but I want to see how he performs with his expanded role. If he stays healthy (knock on wood) I think he can have a breakout year, and with our struggles on offense last season, we need someone on that side to step up and have a breakout season. (not interrogating..just kind of curious) I figure that Spano has something to prove and is going to be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. This will be his third spring at Nebraska, so he has been in the system for a while now, but has been limited by knee injuries.
