ladyhawke
I just looked at the ESPNU Top 150 recruits-I can't believe how many of those kids haven't committed yet! Lots! Quote Link to comment
little_red
Peat has eliminated USC. It's down to Nebraska or Stanford. This is the one kid I've felt positively about throughout the entire process. Have a strong feeling that he is Nebraska-bound. SC fans claim they have NOT been eliminated. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
If I were Peat, I would honestly choose Stanford. I hate to say that because as a Husker fan, I'd love to see him here. But man! Even their football program, right now, is a juggernaut. And that school is truly something special. An experience I think you don't just pass up. Quote Link to comment
BigRedWeatherman
Zoogies...you shut your dirty whore mouth! LOL J/K It would be so tough to pass up, but I can feel his pain about not playing with big bro too. I have a bad feeling that he goes with Stanford as he tries to do something new and on his own. I PRAY I AM WRONG! Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
Stanford will not continue to be as good as they were without Luck and Harbaugh. I hated how Shaw coached the Fiesta Bowl playing not to lose. Meanwhile USC and Oregon will continue to be strong. Watch out for some upsets from Wazzzu and Leach. Sark has UW on the rise. I will be surprised if Stanford can stay highly ranked...their division in Pac 12 will no longer have gimmees against the WA schools and rival Cal will always play them tough too. Haspula
If we dont get Peat... that will just be sad Quote Link to comment
huskerhandy35
Stanford is going to slip over the next couple of years on the grid-iron... and although academically they will always be at the top, Nebraska isn't exactly without prestige! Besides football tradition here can't be beat and Stanford doesn't come close when it comes to football. Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
Really surprised this one is still up in the air. Drinking my red kool-aid for you Mr. Peat! Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Really surprised this one is still up in the air. Drinking my red kool-aid for you Mr. Peat! It seems the longer this drags on the more "up in the air" it all is.... 4 weeks ago I was certain he was N, but now I'm wondering if it isn't Stanford.... Quote Link to comment
FLU
If Peat was so worried about academics, he should have applied to Princeton or Harvard. His future is in football. He is the big fish in this year's class... the one guy we are SUPPOSED to get... would give NU some much-needed publicity and time in the limelight... not getting him would be extremely disappointing. At Stanford Peat can have a healthy balance success in both academics and football.... I don't think that STanford's football success will last any longer then 2-3 more years, but right now they are the "it" school on the west coast. Along with USC, and Oregon.... Quote Link to comment

Also, this isn't 'dragging out', is it? Peat has been a NSD announcement for a while. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
I really hope Murphy chooses The Farm before AP does. Still feel he'll be N. Quote Link to comment
