Scratchtown
If this is true I am going to be pissed. I HATE the big 10. you have to realize that its not really going to be the big 10 anymore. just adding a team with Nebraska's caliber improves the conference greatly. you have OSU, Penn St, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. I think that more powerful than Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Okie State agree 100% +1 Quote Link to comment

Scratchtown
I kind of expected this board to be going crazy...not much buzz going on right at the moment. Quote Link to comment
dee_s3
have u seem what the SEC and USC have done to the likes of Big Ten teams lately Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
have u seem what the SEC and USC have done to the likes of Big Ten teams lately who freaking cares...probably because their season ended sooner than SEC or USC's and now that will change. People who say this act like its some kind of superstition or whatever. Get a clue Quote Link to comment
dee_s3
I'm not saying they will do that to us, but the football they play has slacked alot, since a couple years back. I like playing texas and OU, Ohio St is nowhere close to those to.. Our rivalry will take a while to get going also Quote Link to comment
Ringer02
I have a question on expansion.... Lets say if we do leave this week, what does that mean about our big 12 schedule? There are already TV contracts set up for Colorado, and I really want to play Texas this year... Quote Link to comment
GSG
I'm guessing they would have to wait till the next season to implement the new conference(s) Quote Link to comment

The Big XII conference was created in '94 but didn't officially begin until '96. Quote Link to comment
Ringer02
so we can still win the big 12 even though we're no longer apart of the big 12? That's awesome! 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
This is why Rumorville exists. If an announcement is made that we're moving to the Superconference, this thread will come back to Husker Football. Carry on. Quote Link to comment
Stu
Am I alone when I say I couldn't care less what conference Nebraska is in? I JUST WANNA SEE THE HUSKERS DESTROY SOMEONE, I DON'T CARE WHO!!! :koolaid2: Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
so we can still win the big 12 even though we're no longer apart of the big 12? That's awesome! What if the Big 12 kicks us out. Didnt the Big East do that to Boston College when they joined the ACC. Then its possible that would join in 2011, if thats the case. Im still alittle skeptical on this whole Super Conference realignment. Quote Link to comment
fro daddy
you have to give 2 years notice if you are leaving the conference. so 2012 is the earliest season the move could be made Quote Link to comment
