Branno
Anyone know what they are doing with the other statue? Bill Callahan statue? No. This one: Well I know last season it was on the Northwest side of the stadium while they were working on the new East stadium addition. I didn't get around there for the first game to see if it was still there. My idea for the Legacy statue is to put it back in it's original place outside of East stadium. That way with the new Bob Devaney statue underneath the archway at Gate 20, it would look like the coach is on the sidelines watching his players. What do you all think of this? It's on the north east side now, I saw it as I was going into the stadium for Wyoming. Looks pretty permanent. 1 Quote Link to comment
jamrinelli
Too cushy for me. I know recruiters tool but ..... Any picture(s) for visitor locker room? Pink lockers and urinals/toilets like Iowa Hawkeyes? Not sure about being too cushy, but ur right it is a HUGE tool for recruiting. You look at some of the schools like Oregon and Alabama and you will see that they have really gone ALL out for their players. I would love for the school to put together a video with just music and showing all of the facilities ie) locker room, weight room video rooms. I think it could be used as a recruiting tool that recruits can look at that haven't stepped foot on campus.... Quote Link to comment
Junior
Did anyone take and post gameday pics of the new addition? Quote Link to comment

Comish
Anyone know what they are doing with the other statue? Bill Callahan statue? I believe that was the proposed Steve Pederson statue........ Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
The legacy statue needs to be put back where it was - where they put devaney's. The Devaney statue should be in front of south stadium - opposite Osborne's. Eventually a fourth statue in the same vein as the legacy statue should go in front of west stadium. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Been a while since I posted any updates. As everyone knows by now, the East Stadium Expansion Project is completed, but to date I haven't seen any pics posted of the final product, including the new concourse. So here's some pics of that, in case you were interested. First up, outside the stadium, including the new Bob Devaney statue: 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
These pics are the artwork on the columns and east wall of the stadium. I left them huge and posted them as links so you could get as much detail as possible. Apologies that many of them are askew. I'm an amateur. http://i.imgur.com/F5ZhWE2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/meEBiOB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/x7B3KCh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Fc1rX4p.jpg http://i.imgur.com/z0XgfD6.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OAC2Wgi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hyNWitA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tOVBM0F.jpg http://i.imgur.com/M5pQ8r4.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lLfZuRd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/eHUc316.jpg http://i.imgur.com/eeaHDAu.jpg http://i.imgur.com/98O4cc5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/J326g8v.jpg http://i.imgur.com/8drZHtw.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Jhyy7uD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HUITl9V.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Wn4ZI79.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6N6ln3V.jpg http://i.imgur.com/k1VlTYC.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mOsdfxC.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MKBDdeE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wbVSioZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GHwM2Ex.jpg 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Finally, here are some details of the main entrance. These pics will probably represent the last pics I post of the East Stadium. It's been a busy two years, and I hope you guys liked the photos. EDIT - OK, one last pic. Took this the day I took these pictures above. Here's a bona-fide @HuskerSquirrels picture. I really like this shot, especially for someone with mediocre photography skills. 2 Quote Link to comment
