hskrfan4life
Please tell me the students are not planning on doing the b******* this game.... I'm literally going to yell at people not wearing red or burnt orange, no white, grey or black. Thank you for your cooperation. Quote Link to comment
husker2010
lol....we're not retarded... the ones that don't wear red are frats/sororities that wear their black block-seating shirts from several years ago, trying to relive the "glory days"... i'm glad they got rid of that sh#t Quote Link to comment
shyndy
this is supposed to be the red out around the world day. they should have red shirts to give to people not wearing red and they can't get in the stadium otherwise, heh. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
I've heard that some students have talked about bringing Vuvuzelas to the game. Anybody else hear this and now anything? Quote Link to comment

The Dude
I've heard that some students have talked about bringing Vuvuzelas to the game. Anybody else hear this and now anything? That would be so awful. This isn't soccer and those things are annoying as hell. Quote Link to comment
TMagic
I would hope that all the students got the memo. Quote Link to comment

Lyons in the Sea of Red.
There is always at least one or two vuvuzelas in the student section. They are annoying but damn they're loud. Quote Link to comment
huskeraddict
There's a group on facebook about students bringing the really loud Sun Chips bag Quote Link to comment
GMoose
There's going to be so much red in this record crowd that a few black and white shirt won't even be noticeable. Quote Link to comment
Huskerballz
I'm sorry but our student section sucks compared to most other student sections. It seems almost every other student body has some awesome tradition (student pushups, jumping up and down in unison) and they have.....what?....exactly? Waving their arms back and forth after a touchdown? Lame. I realize there isn't anything that can be done about this, just wishing out loud that they'd get something organized or started. The shoes on kickoffs. Also, maybe if the students were actually closer to the field like they are everywhere else.... And as far as the OP goes.. the students don't really organize a b1ackout.. The one B******, Pelini's first game, was organized by the athletic department, not the students. They gave the students a black t-shirt with their student ticket pickups, but it failed because there was no way to make them wear it.... had they given it out at the gates instead, it would work. Minnesota_husker
will security actually let vuvuzuelas in? Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
I always prefer vocal crowd noise over annoying noise. If they want to have just annoying, play a Brooke Hogan song. Nothing more awesome then yelling so loud you feel like the blood vessels in your eyes are gonna explode! Quote Link to comment
