epocSoN
Complete bullsh#t... more proof the big 12 doesn't know what they are doing I guess. Quote Link to comment
MUTigerFan
It's near the end. Advance to the 1:35 mark. The hit is in the lower right quad of the screen. Head hunting - clear as a bell. Cheap, dirty shot... and then laughing on the sideline. Thug play. Quote Link to comment

Cheap, dirty shot... and then laughing on the sideline. Thug play. Could you point out the helmet to helmet contact for me? This angle . . . and NO OTHER ANGLE show leading with the helmet. But at some point later he laughed on the sidelines . . . so he should be suspended. Hmmmm. Thanks for your unbiased opinion. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
This isn't really fair, and the Big 12 probably knows that, unlike the announcers. However, they are setting an example, just like the announcers. It's an important issue that they are trying to raise to light, which is a good thing - but the bad thing is that guys like Martin are undeservedly caught in the crossfire. Quote Link to comment
husker_hurdler
"Mr. Martin committed a flagrant act of targeting an opponent with the crown of his helmet in violation of NCAA Football Rules," said Dan Beebe, the Big 12 Conference commissioner, in a statement. "This dangerous hit is one that we in the football community are trying to remove from the game." UGAHusker
Thank God it wasn't against Texas. Beebe would have kicked him out of football for life! Quote Link to comment
RazzinGTO
Me and the brother in law got into over this hit. completely legit and if those d-bag announcers would have just called the game instead of bringing in NFL type discussion on the hit, E Mart wouldn't be suspended this week. 1 Quote Link to comment
ESPY
Didn't you know everyone loves Nebraska? So, I guess there goes our ability to tackle on special teams, eh. Quote Link to comment
gobiggergoredder
This was a classless move by the Big 12. This is nothing more than a publicity stunt. Two of the three NFL fines were garbage and Eric's hit cleaner than those. It's unfortunate. Quote Link to comment
carlfense
Anyone have the video of the blatant helmet to helmet on T-Mart? Quote Link to comment
