huskernumerouno
That is awesome and wish I was there GBR GBR GBR Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
This reminds me of the Husker Fans at the Fiesta Bowl in 1996 too. Nobody outside Nebraska thought they had a chance in that game either. I'd be very happy with the same outcome in the Big XII Championship. Even if Nebraska wins by 1. I have friends who were going down to Texas for the Big XII Championship. Sounds like the Big Red has Texas rocking. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Now I'm enjoying sitting in the hotel lobby listening to everyone's party story. People that are way past their drinking prime, staying out at the bars until 2am closing, then partying in the parking lot. Doesn't seem to be anyone hungover though. But maybe their still drunk? CENTEXHUSKER
Ran out of BL and Captain by 10? That's gotta be some sort of record, I'm sure the owner's are thrilled though. Quote Link to comment
huskrfj
Staying at embassy suites south of dfw airport... I have seen exactly 2 sooner fans here. We went to sundance square downtown last night and it was the same story. Every establishment we went to was full of husker fans. Good stuff! Quote Link to comment
Wingsfan1340
Just got back from breakfast at our hotel. Lobby full of husker fans. One little group of Sooners looked quite out of place. GBR! Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
You won't see too many Sooner fans staying in motels/hotels. Go by any KOA campground and I bet the place is packed with Sooner trailers. Remember folkes....They don't call it MOBILEHOMA for nothing!! 1 Quote Link to comment
irishhusker
What a great pic. Its cool to hear about all the Big Red, wish I could have made it down. Quote Link to comment
Vizsla1
We got great fans. I hope the house is rocking tonight. I will miss the first half watching my daughter play basketball. She is worth the sacrifice. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Great to hear! Would love to see about 70% Huskers 30% Sooners for this game. Doubt it, but a guy can dream right?! Quote Link to comment
Sparker
I was eating when I got to that picture. I don't feel so good now. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
I took a picture last night on my phone of the one Sooner I found at Humperdinks. The picture turned out poor, but the dude had an 18inch chuckwagon glued onto the top of his his hat. It looked heavy BTW- if your headed down today, Humperdinks, and the Sidetracks band, is back at. Today there is a $10 cover for the band in the beergarden. Waiting line again, but the line is part of the fun. There is also a $10 shuttle to and from the game. You have to prepurchase the ticket and they are going fast Quote Link to comment
illnino
I came down Friday night and there were thousands of Husker fans everywhere. Great people. We also drove by the stadium this morning around 10am and there were thousands of people (mostly Husker fans )already there partying away. My wife and I are heading over there in about 30 min.
