dergibog
UDUB is wearing all black shirts and pants tonight. They wore the same jerseys to barely beat Wazzu. SMU is wearing black jerseys to "honor" the armed services. I don't know what the heck West Virginia was wearing when they got beat the other night. What's wrong with tradition? It's like everybody is turning into Colorado and Notre Dame. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Everyone always wants us to wear black, and I do think maybe black jerseys with our white pants would be cool, but something I think would be cool is a metallic or camoflage red jersey. That's basically what west virginia was wearing. It was a camo pattern. A red camo pattern could be sweet IMO. Quote Link to comment
Ringer02
because some people like mixing it up every once in a while, I really don't see what's wrong with that Quote Link to comment
RazzinGTO
because some people like mixing it up every once in a while, I really don't see what's wrong with that Most Husker fans are ok with it........as long as it isn't Nebraska. I personally think it would be cool, for one game a year, to break something new out. But there are WAY too many Husker fans that think it is blasphemy and that it takes away from "tradition". hosker
They also think its blasphemy to even talk about it. So, SSHHHhhhhh.... Quote Link to comment
ESPY
Dear goodness, let's NOT travel this road again. Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase Quote Link to comment
Husker from Kansas
agreed, its not gonna happen so lets just drop it before this becomes a ten page subject about nothing Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i guess it works for Oregon, talk about a bunch of fashion divas!....they wear a different set of "duck wing colors" and helmet almost every game....i guess that goes with the territory up there...if you know what i mean.. GSG
I think for our game after Thanksgiving that we should wear costumes, er, I mean uniforms that look like what the Pilgrims wore when they came over on the Mayflower moving trucks. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
I think it would alright to go out and do something different for 1 game a year. But what I dont want is the team to get distracted by the thought of wearing something different for the game, because it would be a big deal at Nebraska not so much anywhere else. kansas husker
The flashy jersey is a gimick to get people to watch. I dont mind wearing a throwback once in a while, but it took years to build up the tradition that Nebraska has. Why throw it away by buying into crappy gimicks that look cool. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
B****** for the Huskers? Quote Link to comment
RedNLeader
I dont see why we cant mix it up a little bit as long as it really ties into nebraska colors Quote Link to comment
