Nexus
LINCOLN — One thing Nebraska's entry into the Big Ten will do is help the league cut down on 11 a.m. kickoffs for televised football and add prime-time games. Commissioner Jim Delany said in an interview that part of renegotiating the league's TV deal with ABC/ESPN after Nebraska got invited was to allow the Big Ten Network to broadcast games that start at 2:30 p.m. and in a night slot at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. Continue Reading Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Overall getting rid of 11 a.m. games is good but I didn't mind being the first game on TV after gameday. It helps for people who travel to the games and who are fans not in the midwest. Quote Link to comment

Micheal
I really like the triple header of Big Ten games. That will be great to see. Hopefully all this BTN vs Timer Warner stuff gets worked out. Quote Link to comment
biggie
Definitely looking forward to it. However some of these things would be happening regardless and most of them would be happening with any expansion, Nebraska or not. Quote Link to comment
HuskerBill85
The 11 a.m games aren't even the worse thing. What sucks is that women play by play person on ESPN she sucks! Quote Link to comment

Danimal
What is the beef with Ward other than her gender? She is nothing special as a commentator but she's competent. Mussburger flat-out stinks and he gets to do the big games not Northwestern vs Minnie, that is what sucks. As far as 11:00am games go they will stick-around but they'll mostly be between the eastern timezone teams. We shouldn't have too many. 1 Quote Link to comment
General Blackshirt
What is the beef with Ward other than her gender? Why does there have to be another reason? I'm sure the words she uses are just fine, but I don't really care. The sound of a woman's voice announcing football annoys me, and probably 98% of other football fans out there too. This literally made me laugh out loud. I used to make that joke all the time (punching babies), but it didn't get a good reaction 90% of the time. I'm glad someone else thinks its funny.
