Dawson
didn't Michael Rose go to Lee Summit? I suppose I could go back and look but maybe he's calling some of the underclassmen he's played with.. Quote Link to comment

Huskerbreeze
Rivals says he attends Lee Summit West. Four star guy. Recruited by several quality teams. If his attitude is "non Gabbert like", he could be a player for the Huskers. GBR Quote Link to comment
Haspula
Rose attended Rockhurst. I think you're thinking of King Frazier, he attended lee's summit Quote Link to comment
Huskerbreeze
Gotcha...Rose did attend Rockhurst...but never hurts to have a Mizzou guy talk Husker Power to another Mizzou guy. GBR Quote Link to comment
Kansanhusker93
From his video, he hits hard runs fast and get around blocks well. Anyway we could take and turn him into a defensive end or is he too short? Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
Basically, we are full at LB and that is that. Newby, Love, and Bando are all IMO just flat out better than this kid. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Didn't we go after him as a TE? Or was that another linebacker? Quote Link to comment
ADS
Are you thinking of Victor Egu? We went after him as a TE. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
Didn't we go after him as a TE? Or was that another linebacker? I don't believe that to be the case. I could be wrong though as well. Quote Link to comment
TheRedCarver
I believe that was Chans Cox. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
I believe that was Chans Cox. You're right. That's who I was thinking of. Quote Link to comment
CMT1525
uh don't bring up chans cox that 1 still hurts me. we didn't go after him as hard because his injury when I think he would be great player still. he was very interested in Nebraska Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
I still think Chans Cox is best suited for TE/HB rather than LB. Oh well. Ramirez is a player and would be a good MLB but if he is a headcase than I have no problem with them passing especially since we have Love who is a good player and sounds like a team player. Part of a successful recruiting class is retention. Part is getting a group with good chemistry that will work hard to get better. I like the Linebackers we have for this year (and last year). NoLongerN
For me, the interesting thought all along has been the lack of love for Cox and Ramirez whom are both rated higher on most folks boards. I remember the conversation with SkerChicago on this, post #63. All these months later I'm still left with the thoought that this was the year that we had plenty of open slots. Thus, this kid must have one bad attitude to not offer. The kid has four star talent as well as Cox ... no doubt about it. Just wish we would have pursued these kids like we did the ones we got.
