Scarlet"N"Cream
In 1998 west stadium was being renovated and we beat Washington. Now in 2011 east stadium is being renovated. Its a good sign. Quote Link to comment
UDub
Or it could mean Washington wins since it's the opposite side of the stadium and thus opposite results. Quote Link to comment
MattDoza
It means nothing. To make up for such a silly thread, let's all watch the 98 game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqr0Nqe57-s 1 Quote Link to comment

Washington may win, who really knows, but it is pretty safe to say Washington will not put up 55 on our defense and I am pretty sure we can put up more than 7 on the Husky D. Quote Link to comment

huskered17
didnt we lose the holiday bowl that year to arizona? Yes. Bobby N was out and Walker was out. Eric Crouch was at qb. To top it off I gave 14pts to a couple of UofA fans I worked with. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Or it could mean Washington wins since it's the opposite side of the stadium and thus opposite results. This is why superstitions are stupid. Since they don't mean anything, you can make them mean whatever you want. Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
I was at that game in 1998, went to College Game Day in the morning. The fans were loud in Memorial Stadium that da, you couldnt even hear the "blue hairs". My brother was going to school in Lincoln, and got a hold of another student ticket for me. I loved Standing through the entire game and I was proud to have no voice at the end. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
While we're on meaningless superstitions, I have a black Husker hat that I wear to most Husker games. When I have, we have won...including twice this year, once last year, and 5-6 times in the past. The time I didn't wear my hat to the game, you ask? That would be the 2010 Texas game. Record wearing the hat: 9-0. Record forgetting to wear the hat: 0-1. And guess what? I'm wearing my hat today. GBR! Quote Link to comment
