walksalone
1. That our O line, and the offensive playcalling are on life support 2. The tackling was horrible and the D line looked pourous 3. Option to the short side of the field is asking for little or no gain 4. T-mart throws better rolling out of the pocket 5. Beck totally disregarded what worked last week, and he's not doing anything to distinguish himself from Watson 6. I haven't seen this many missed holding calls in who knows how long Quote Link to comment
Malth
That Bo has no idea how to get his team up for games against sh**ty teams Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Use our playmakers instead of thinking 50 touches from Burkhead is gonna get it done. Turner? Abdullah? Heard? Green? Quote Link to comment
tab-neb
That we have a young team, and they're only going to get better. That Beck and co. have to get the young running backs more touches... Burkhead looked exhausted out there. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I missed most of the game, so I can't even begin to comprehend what happened. We lost - huh?????????!????? Taylor went 29-of-38 for 298 yards, 2 scores, and 0 INTS - huhhhhhhhhhh???!??? What the eff? No finger pointing from me yet, I'm not even upset or anything because I missed so much of the game and it feels kinda surreal. Quote Link to comment
robsker
That Bo has no idea how to get his team up for games against sh**ty teams Bo has no idea how to get his team up against any other team. In 4 years Bo's teams have played fewer than 5 games where they were focused and intense both sides of the ball all 4 quarters --- one was last week against MSU... but that was the first one in 15 games or so. No... Bo rarely ever has his team playing intense , focused football. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
That our Oline failed miserably vs a totally inept defense. Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
we're going to be playing on Dec. 31 in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas or the Ticket City Bowl on Jan. 2nd. After being ranked 9th in the BCS at one point. God I hate this. Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
Carl handed out the blackshirts too early. Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
Congrats to Northwestern! They played great and put it to us. Hats off to you! Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
1. Rex looks dinged up/exhausted 2. Taylor looked like Joe Montana today 3. Blackshirts? This D couldn't stop a nosebleed 4. Ciante and Thorrell are garbage 5. Holding doesn't exist in the Big 10 6. Mobile QBs are our worst nightmare 6. Offensive line = 1 Quote Link to comment
irishhusker
D sucks big hairy balls. Taylor played well, made some good throws. Rex should have taken the day off, clearly not 100% burn those blackshirts Quote Link to comment
robsker
Use our playmakers instead of thinking 50 touches from Burkhead is gonna get it done. Turner? Abdullah? Heard? Green? Not to go on a Bo ragfest, but there are q few things that Bo does really poorly. They are... 1) getting his team to play 4 quarters of focused football 2) roster management in terms of redshirting 3) roster management in terms of substituting --- which your post points out here 4) dealing with the media 5) hiring his coaching staff Quote Link to comment
Foppa
That Bo is abysmal in November. No Blackshirts>Blackshirts. Playcalling/O-line is nothing but a fairytale that comes true every so often. Consistency does not apply to this team. Quote Link to comment
tab-neb
I thought we showed up... we just got exposed defensively. There were a few blackshirts who were out of position all game, and offensively our lack of development on the o-line and at running back killed us. If Bo takes anything from this loss, it's that developing the backups is just as important as getting the first team reps. Quote Link to comment
