For the last few weeks the defense has pretty much been taken over by Bo, so the adjustments need to come from him. But scheme won't make up for lack of skill, which is our issue. We have recruited like crap in the front 7 for a few years now, and it's showing up this year. How fast can we fix it is the big question. Next year looks SCARY without Lavonte. Or Dennard.... When you lose arguably your team's best player in Crick, and have about 4 other DTs either out hurt or playing hurt, it's gonna show up on the field. No matter how many years or how many plays of him getting routinely beat doesn't get it through our coaches head that the kid IS NOT A GOOD CORNERBACK. He's AWFUL. I don't know why they put him in. It's not just Thorell...other than David and Dennard, the whole defense is ordinary at best, and some of them are just plain bad. Quote Link to comment

I would like to know though, what good is making a last second defensive call from the sideline when your line is blown off the ball because they're staring at the sideline when the ball is snapped?
