Chaddyboxer
How do you think the NEB football team would feel to see two teams that they beat competing in the BIG10 title game!? Thoughts.....may humble them? Lessons learned? Motivation for next year? Quote Link to comment
n.e.husker
Im sure it makes the team sick knowing that they beat both these teams. Sure does bother me. Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
I cant begin to guess what the team would think about seeing that matchup...cause I sure couldn't guess what they were thinking during yesterday's game... Quote Link to comment
The Dude
They'd feel about the same way Texas A&M felt last year while watching Nebraska and Oklahoma in the Big XII title game. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thoughts.....may humble them? Lessons learned? Motivation for next year? It will hopefully leave a bitter taste in their mouths either way, as it should. The team as a whole, coaches included, need to make good to great strides in their development. Knowing that even with them not quite ready for prime-time, he youth and the toughest schedule the B1G could muster they still had more than a puncher's chance of making the inaugural title game. TonyStalloni
I'm sure the coaches have preached all year about players working hard for every game. Let's hope there is a lesson learned by them if these two teams play in the championship game while we get ready for a minor Florida Bowl game. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
They'd feel about the same way Texas A&M felt last year while watching Nebraska and Oklahoma in the Big XII title game. Great, so know we want to join the SEC. Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
If our defense SOMEHOW is better than next year....which it isn't looking so good after losing David and Dennard....we will be a better team next year. We are getting a ton of starters coming back for next year... Quote Link to comment
Excel
It would suck knowing you played one of the toughest schedules in the conference and beat both potential champions only to have to sit that game out. A&M was in a similar situation and South Carolina is in one this year having beat every team in the East but having UGA win the division...it sucks but it happens. That said I don't think PSU will be going to the CCG, at least I hope not. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Just for a matter of making the team look better, I'm rooting for Penn State next week. However, I would like to see a Wisconsin-Michigan State rematch Quote Link to comment
GMoose
Nebraska doesn't deserve to play in the CCG, the fact that both teams might be ones they've beat is just a cruel reminder. Maybe they can use that as motivation to play to their full potential every week 2 Quote Link to comment

MSU on the otherhand sucks cause I know we're more talented than they are, although they are more consistent due to them being a veteran squad, and they have the benefit of schedule on their side. Chaddyboxer
I honestly think Penn St. can take Wisconsin....it will be a battle. We'll see next week who goes to the CCG. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
It sucks, but I guess that's what happens when you lose to a team you shouldn't and get blown out in two other games. Quote Link to comment

Really?? I don't think a 9-2 football team who came in flat for one game against NU can be considered as a sh**ty football team. I don't like to make excuses but comments like this are irritating especially when your not taking into consideration the season as a whole. Quote Link to comment
