hskrfan4life
I won't say we play better on the road until we beat teams consistently on the road. (null) Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
I've always liked SC's unis. Unique color scheme. I am not abig fan of their unis. Maroon is an ugly color IMO and the SEC has 4 soon to 5 teams that are maroon or very similar to - SCar, Miss St. Ark, Ala and now A&M. My favorite SEC unis are LSU and Auburn's all white. I'll correct you before you get chastised by them. It's garnet. Quote Link to comment

Try and go to an SEC board and see what happens when you say we all share the same color. Haha but they are similar but when any of the 2 teams play each other you can see the slight shade differences. We used to wear black more frequently but not so much anymore, anytime we've tried under Spurrier over the last couple of years we've had some bad losses. As for this thread I think both will travel well. I've noticed a lot of Big 10 fan bases travel well. They enjoy their football up there just like the South does. Plus I figure it gives them a chance to hang out in FL for a few days in the winter rather than being up in whatever state they're from that I'm sure is cold as hell. Plus Nebraska fans have a reputation of traveling well and so do SC fans. I think it will be a sell out no doubt. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
I'm ok with that. For whatever reason (maybe it's the whites) we seem to play better on the road and the site is much closer to SC than Nebraska. They're #9 and we're #20, they should be the home team team. Ya, those away games at Wisconsin and Michigan were great games by us. I stand corrected- we didn't play very good away or at home. But our 2 worst games were on the road (and no I don't consider Northwestern one of the 2 or 3 worst games we played) Maybe the key will be a neutral site. Hopefully. Quote Link to comment
secretasianman
Darn, does this mean no black jersey? And no discussion of an alternate uniform?! Quote Link to comment
JTrain
When was the last time the B1G wore white jerseys in this game? I can't remember it. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Visitors or not, it'll be much more of a home crowd than we faced this season at Madisonville. And Happy Valley. And the Big House. We played the toughest road schedule in the nation this year. Wouldn't surprise me to see more Husker fans there than Gamecocks fans. I'm betting more Carolina fans simply because of Geographical convenience...not to mention SEC fans stick together and I don't doubt local SEC fans from the area will go to support the Gamecocks even if they're not die-hard USC fans. It happened the other year when we played UCONN in Birmingham. Quite a few local Bama folks showed up to support the c$%ks. I'm willing to bet Nebraska because we actually have a winter to escape. GoonSquad
I think that'll mean USC will go All Garnet with white helmets. This should be the case if Spurrier turns down the bowl uniform idea UA is pitching. He's ok'd new gloves and cleats for the bowl but he's up in the air about breaking out new jerseys... (Spurrier loves traditional uniforms) Quote Link to comment
Captain Hindsight
As long as we don't wear the surrender all whites I don't care. 3 Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
As long as we don't wear the surrender all whites I don't care. Which is what NU sported when getting railed by Ga Tech the last time they visited the bowl. Quote Link to comment
Creed
When was the last time the B1G wore white jerseys in this game? I can't remember it. I believe they switch home & away between SEC and B1G each year. The slow weak B1G has won 5 out of the last 7 vs almighty SEC in this bowl. Quote Link to comment

Nexus
For the superstitious Husker fans, the last time Nebraska wore white jerseys in a Florida bowl game was against Clemson in 2009. It worked well then, so.... Quote Link to comment

Penn State may have worn blue since LSU chose their home whites. Quote Link to comment
