TheW0rld
I like the idea from above of moving Meredith inside to the DT rotation. He's added quite a bit more weight than I though he would and has lost quite a bit of speed. He doesn't really turn the corner very fast any more. I'd like to see Cam lose the weight and get back to the player that looked like he had real potential at D End. It didn't looked like he added good weight but rather just got fat. We could move him to DT but we have a much bigger need at DE and I think if he got a little faster he'd be a great DE. Quote Link to comment

Huskerlambs
When was the last time we had the same HC, OC, and QB for two consecutive years? We need continuity. TM will improve in year 3, but the deer in the headlights problem will not improve with a true freshman. Quit asking for it. 4 Quote Link to comment

Joe_5700
I'll make this prediction: unless we have about 6 LB's that get injured, Fischer is not going to be starting He is a Millard North grad like me, so I am puling for him, but he seems timid after the injury. Much like Matt Herian was never the same after his leg injuries. Quote Link to comment

robsker
It seems that Ciante Evans is not predicted by that many to start as a CB. Green seems to be uniformly viewed as starting and then Seisay. Those who do not see Evans as a starter... reasons? Has it more to do with Seisay than Evans... or is it about Evans? I thought that Evans was starting to be a solid player --- and he has potential to be sure. Also... Corey Cooper has been moved to OLB. Great athlete. Physical. Any thyought that he might compete for one of the OLB positions? Seems no one thinks so... or perhaps most forgot to consider him. He'll only be a So --- and has some athleticism. RedRedJarvisRedwine
Seems to be some disagreement on David Santos. What LB spot he will play and some posters don't have him starting. I was under the impression he couldve easily burned his redshirt if needed, he was that ready. Thoughts. Quote Link to comment

I think it all depends on how Ciante progresses this off season to figure him at nickle or not. I do know Smoove has the prototypical size to man up against receivers, so we'll have to wait and see what comes out of camp. I'm surprised that many aren't discussing this move more either. This is one move I'm glad/excited the coaches made and we could see benefits sooner rather than later. Coop is too talented of an athlete to ride the bench, and see him bringing a number of attributes to that position. Quote Link to comment

They could have burned his RS, but decided to take their lumps last year with who they already had. Looking forward to seeing what D Santos can do. Even though we lose David, our LBers will be much more athletic that last year. This group's upside as a whole is light years from what is was this past season. Quote Link to comment
