Lyons in the Sea of Red.
Glad the moved Hirsh to Sunday. We were doomed if he was going to be our Friday guy. Quote Link to comment
95huskers
Yeah i think Hirsch obviously had some struggles especially early in the game. Which put us in a hole in some games. I think he can be an asset, he just needs to get his pitches down and build up some confidence. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Can't wait to get home and watch this. Here's hoping we start our Big 10 season off on the right foot. Quote Link to comment
Comish
Love a sweep, but would be content with 2 of 3... Quote Link to comment
95huskers
It would be nice to put up some big numbers tonight with it being televised on BTN. We could gain some respect with a nice win and good offensive output. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
FYI if we win both the Friday and Saturday games we will be wearing black jerseys on sunday to try to complete the sweep, we will do this every BIG series if we win the first two, i have inside connections Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
Pretty sure Lemke was the Friday guy all along. They were simply having him late in the weekend because of his injury and inability to go deep in games early on. They didn't want to have to waste the bullpen early in the weekend and then not have it if it was needed later on in the weekend. Hopefully Hirsch get's everything strapped down on Sundays Quote Link to comment

I like it, it gave them some attitude, I just hope we get to see the black jersey every weekend. Quote Link to comment
Gumbercules
Need to win two of three this weekend pretty badly. We've lost some momentum with the loss in the last LaTech game and then actually dropping one to N. Colorado. Illinois isn't very good. A sweep is definitely possible if we play well.
