Woody Tressel
With Bo coaching there before with Les, this would be a fun home and home series. Has Nebraska ever played LSU before? Quote Link to comment

huskerjch
Why in Gods name would we want to schedule a team like LSU. The way college football is to me its foolish to schedule teams like this in the non con. Schedule 3 puds and one respectable team and get yourself prepared for conferance play. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
LSU is good, but we need to schedule someone we most likely wouldn't see in a BCS bowl game, since we mostly meet SEC teams. I would say schedule USC or Stanford, someone in that caliber at least. Quote Link to comment

Omaha-Husker
Would be cool. I think a lot of LSU fans already have an appreciation for Nebraskans in general from their CWS tradition. Quote Link to comment

Yes, why schedule a good SEC team and open up recruiting grounds in SEC territory? Thats just stupid when you can play teams like S. Dakota St. and everyone can sit the whole game! To the OP, that would be an awesome series!! Memorial would be rocking! Im actually looking forward to playing Miami/Tennessee in a few years so maybe we can get a LSU scheduled after those series end. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
LSU is one of our historic favorite bowl bitches. Honestly I am glad we have not had them the last few seasons but think it would be great to schedule a home and home series with them at least a few years down the road. Quote Link to comment
MLB 51
I really wouldn't have a problem with this either. Like Po said, it would open up recruiting in the SEC. Quote Link to comment

308_Husker
We would get absolutely smashed by LSU in both games in that series. I wouldn't like that matchup too well. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
That would be such a low scoring game it'd be silly.... Brett Maher hits two 3 run bombs to help the Huskers beat LSU 6-3.... Quote Link to comment
AK-47
Would be cool. I think a lot of LSU fans already have an appreciation for Nebraskans in general from their CWS tradition. I didn't even think about that. That little fact makes me want this to happen. Ah, the fond memories of drunk LSU fans offer my 13-year-old self beef as I walk passed Rosenblatt Stadium.. Because starting 2016, who you play non conference matters a lot more. OSU is already changing their system. I don't know what the timeline is, but there should be only one MAC team and 3 games against automatic qualifiers. Quote Link to comment
