I've been to a couple Nebraska games where they handed out towels, but only black or white ones. Alabama hands out their shakers that are red, creating a "crimson tide". I think red towels would have a neat visual affect. It would play along well with a "sea of red". Just my 2 cents. Quote Link to comment

My thought would be that black towels on the Sea of Red backdrop creates a more dramatic effect. That's my guess. Red towels on the Sea of Red would get washed out a little bit. Quote Link to comment
