teachercd
I heard them talking about this today on the radio and I really can't remember all that many statues beating Bo in the last 5 years, anyone know which ones have? The TT QB's, who else? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Sam Bradford comes to mind. South Carolina's QB isn't much of a runner, is he? Quote Link to comment
GSG
Would you count Sam Bradford in 2008? Edit: sh#t. Beat me to it Quote Link to comment
RockyMountainOySker
Landry Jones Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan1985
Landry Jones in the CCG a few years ago, the TT QB "Sticks", can't remember his real name. Otherwise, that's about all i could come up with. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Gram Harrel and Landry Jones are the only ones that come to mind. I dont know that you could call Bradford a statue. He got around pretty good. He just never had to . 1 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I think the common definition is that anyone who isn't an outright athlete, they're considered a statue. Pro-style, let's put it that way. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
Chase Daniel is fairly statue-y. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
Since Bo has been here: Landry Jones in the CCG Colt McCoy in the CCG* Chase Daniel Graham Harrell Sam Bradford zoogies, Connor Shaw can definitely run the football. Quote Link to comment
Joe_5700
Chase Daniel is fairly statue-y. Chase Daniel was not even close to being a statue like QB. Quote Link to comment
broganreynik
Ryan Tannehill and Garret Gilbert? Quote Link to comment

I would say he was a statue for the most part. That is just me though. McCoy, I would say was NOT a statue but more of a tweener. I "heard" in the last two years, Bo vs. Statues has only let up an average of 13.6 points per game. Quote Link to comment

I think the idea is, how often can someone primarily sitting in the pocket and throwing beat Bo's defense? If you're playing in a straight drop-back offense, it doesn't matter much if you're George Blanda or Usain Bolt, your arm and eyes are the primary weapons. Daniel may have decent speed/athleticism, but it wasn't really utilized against us in '08, if I remember correctly. He finished with 1 carry for 0 yards, and I don't remember many roll-out type passes. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
The only ones that I would consider statues that have beaten us are Sam Bradford* and the TT QBs. We had to spy Chode Daniel when we played them in 07, so he can run the ball a bit, and Colt McCoy is nowhere near statue status. Quote Link to comment
