Count 'Bility
Zac Lee That guy wooped our ass. Not really though. He was a warrior. Just didnt quite have it. Had a lot of things working against him. Quote Link to comment
Marf
Zac Lee Look at the pure, unharnessed speed displayed by Zac Lee multiple times throughout the game... Dude ran the ball like he had a cinderblock in his pants (which he probably did). Heard he was quite a lady killer in his day. Quote Link to comment

If the dude wouldn't have completely screwed up his elbow, he could have been a big time passing QB. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I don't think a plodding pure passer has ever beat a Pelini team. Someone like, say, a Bernie Kosar type. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
Ryan Tannehill and Garret Gilbert? Pretty sure Tannehill was a converted WR. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Gram Harrel and Landry Jones are the only ones that come to mind. I dont know that you could call Bradford a statue. He got around pretty good. He just never had to . These were the only two "true statues" that beat us in Bo's tenure. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
So then, out of the next four, how many are true statues? All 4? Maxwell doesnt seem like a runner at all McGloin is playing in a pro-system, no running at all BUT they do go for it on 4th down all the time, it seems like Vanderslow from Iowa doesn't run Who am I missing? Minnesota QB is pretty mobile, I think. Quote Link to comment

That's just the thing; other coaches figured out that using a regular, semi-mobile qb as a mobile qb was a good strategy against our defense.
