Haspula
Is it $420 each player or for the whole team? Quote Link to comment
Branno
Is it just me or are some of the lesser bowls getting better swag than the Capitol One bowl? Quote Link to comment
Saint Boseph
Is it just me or are some of the lesser bowls getting better swag than the Capitol One bowl? Is it me or does anyone else cringe at the casual, everyday use of the word 'swag'. It's a silly word fit for use by pop rappers and teeny boppers. Quote Link to comment

In this case, SWAG = Stuff We All Get Otherwise, I agree with you. It's overused and pretty stupid, but YOLO Quote Link to comment

An Oakley backpack? What? Has Oakley been "relevant" in the past 10 years? NewEra hats? Also, I don't like the thought of rewarding a lot of these teams, especailly the ones that are, like 6-6 with a bowl trip and bunch of "swag". Comes back to, "everyone gets a trophy" logic. Lyons in the Sea of Red.
$420 is an interesting number they came up with. I believe there is like a $500 total limit or something like that. Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
$420 is an interesting number they came up with. If you read the article, it says they are allowed up to $550 worth of stuff. That Fossil watch must be worth $130. I'd rather have the full $550 in a gift cert, but that's not a choice. Quote Link to comment
